模糊限制語(yǔ)源于1972年,是繼美國(guó)查德教授提出著名的模糊理論之后由拉克夫提出的。它是模糊語(yǔ)言家族的重要成員,是語(yǔ)言交際中的普遍現(xiàn)象,在交際中起著非常重要的作用。本文主要從語(yǔ)用學(xué)的角度研究英語(yǔ)中模糊限制語(yǔ)在言語(yǔ)交際中的功能。文中作者結(jié)合國(guó)內(nèi)外相關(guān)研究現(xiàn)狀,從語(yǔ)用角度對(duì)模糊限制語(yǔ)的含義、分類(lèi)及其研究現(xiàn)狀作了探討。 首先,作者運(yùn)用語(yǔ)用原則中的“合作原則”,“禮貌原則”,“面子威脅理論”及“會(huì)話含義”,結(jié)合具體實(shí)例對(duì)模糊限制語(yǔ)在言語(yǔ)交際中的使用進(jìn)行了整體上的理論分析,得出模糊限制語(yǔ)的一般功能。其次,作者結(jié)合具體的語(yǔ)境對(duì)兩個(gè)語(yǔ)料庫(kù)--新聞與商務(wù)談判中的模糊限制語(yǔ)的出現(xiàn)數(shù)量、分布狀況做出了統(tǒng)計(jì),進(jìn)而分析在這兩種語(yǔ)境中模糊限制語(yǔ)體現(xiàn)出的不同的功能及其產(chǎn)生差異的原因。通過(guò)分析可以發(fā)現(xiàn)模糊限制語(yǔ)的功能在不同的語(yǔ)境中有不同的體現(xiàn),這說(shuō)明模糊限制語(yǔ)與其出現(xiàn)的語(yǔ)境有著密切的聯(lián)系。在一定的語(yǔ)境中恰當(dāng)?shù)剡\(yùn)用一些模糊限制語(yǔ)能夠幫助人們成功地進(jìn)行交際從而實(shí)現(xiàn)交際目的。 最后作者總結(jié)了本文的研究成果并指出本文的研究對(duì)外語(yǔ)教學(xué)有著深刻的指導(dǎo)意義,在外語(yǔ)教學(xué)中恰當(dāng)?shù)剡\(yùn)用一些模糊限制語(yǔ)不但能進(jìn)一步提高外語(yǔ)教學(xué)水平,而且能增強(qiáng)...
