語言象似性視域下的兒童文學(xué)作品英譯研究

  在中國文化“走出去”這一新的時代背景下,中國優(yōu)秀兒童文學(xué)作品的對外推廣與傳播應(yīng)該受到重視。然而,就中國文學(xué)作品的外譯而言,“走出去”多為成人文學(xué)作品,兒童文學(xué)作品尚處于邊緣狀態(tài)。這種現(xiàn)象的存在,既有學(xué)界認(rèn)識上的不足,也有兒童文學(xué)作品外譯工作本身的挑戰(zhàn)。兒童文學(xué)翻譯作品的閱讀主體是兒童,而從事兒童文學(xué)作品翻譯的譯者是成人,這種不對稱構(gòu)成了兒童文學(xué)作品翻譯質(zhì)量的現(xiàn)實挑戰(zhàn)。大凡談及兒童文學(xué)作品翻譯,人們自然都會提到“譯者要貼近兒童的認(rèn)知水平”這一質(zhì)量標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。在翻譯實踐中,貼近兒童的認(rèn)知水平體現(xiàn)為譯文充分關(guān)照兒童的認(rèn)知水平。語言認(rèn)知研究表明,人類語言與現(xiàn)實具有相似性關(guān)系;翻譯的實質(zhì)是“源語表達(dá)的意義在譯語中再現(xiàn)”。這意味著兒童作品翻譯貼近兒童認(rèn)知水平的關(guān)鍵在于譯文再現(xiàn)原文與現(xiàn)實之間相似性關(guān)系。本研究以認(rèn)知語言學(xué)的象似性理論為框架,以兒童作品的英譯本為主要研究對象,探討中國優(yōu)秀兒童文學(xué)作品的翻譯原則與方法。在對相關(guān)研究文獻(xiàn)回顧和總結(jié)的基礎(chǔ)上,我們討論了象似性理論對于兒童文學(xué)作品英譯的啟示,提出了出象似性理論視域下的兒童文學(xué)英譯原則,即譯者要有象似性意識,要深入探究原文語言形式背后的深層認(rèn)知動因,并...
