2014年,中國當(dāng)代作家麥家的小說《解密》被翻譯成英文,英譯本Decoded:A Novel在英語國家受到廣泛的好評和認(rèn)可。隨后,其英譯本成功入選企鵝經(jīng)典書庫,成為第一個也是唯一一個入選該書庫的中國當(dāng)代小說,在翻譯界引起了很大的關(guān)注。目前,當(dāng)代中國文學(xué)在海外的接受情況并不樂觀,諸多譯本并未得到認(rèn)可和接受。鑒于此,本文將《解密》作為中國文學(xué)“走出去”的一個典型案例進(jìn)行研究,希望能找出其走紅的深層原因,以促進(jìn)更多的中國當(dāng)代文學(xué)作品走出去。近年來,從社會學(xué)理論的視角研究作品翻譯逐漸成為翻譯研究領(lǐng)域的一個趨勢。在諸多社會學(xué)理論中,法國著名社會學(xué)家布迪厄的理論在翻譯研究中運(yùn)用頻次最高。該理論的最大優(yōu)勢在于可以涉及翻譯活動的更多參與者,彌補(bǔ)了以往研究視角的不足,為翻譯研究提供了一個新的研究思路。此外,在翻譯策略研究領(lǐng)域,翻譯規(guī)范仍然是一個較好的研究角度。因此,本文將從布迪厄社會學(xué)理論和翻譯規(guī)范的雙重視角出發(fā),著力研究《解密》的英譯和接受。首先,本文將利用布迪厄理論的三個核心概念——場域、資本和慣習(xí)分析整個翻譯過程中場域的特點(diǎn),不同參與者的資本和譯者慣習(xí)和對譯本接受的影響。其中,文學(xué)場域中西方讀者對...
