關(guān)聯(lián)翻譯理論是Gutt在Sperber與Wilson的關(guān)聯(lián)理論基礎(chǔ)上所提出的。本文采用了關(guān)聯(lián)翻譯理論中的核心要素,如雙重明示推理交際、譯者的雙重身份、認(rèn)知語境、最佳關(guān)聯(lián)、直接翻譯,間接翻譯等概念,對《邊城》的兩個英譯本的民俗翻譯進(jìn)行對比研究。根據(jù)關(guān)聯(lián)翻譯理論,最佳關(guān)聯(lián)不僅是翻譯研究的標(biāo)準(zhǔn),對于譯者來說也是其最終目標(biāo)。譯者有義務(wù)做到使原文作者之意圖吻合于讀者之期盼,讓讀者在付出適當(dāng)處理努力后得到相對充足的語境效果。在翻譯過程中,譯者扮演著雙重角色,首先,他要努力從原文本所提供的交際線索中發(fā)現(xiàn)并理解原文作者的意圖,當(dāng)然還必須對讀者的認(rèn)知語境了如指掌,才能將原文意圖很好的傳達(dá)給讀者,將翻譯任務(wù)有效完成。在翻譯過程中,不同譯者會根據(jù)以上因素采取不同的翻譯方法進(jìn)行再創(chuàng)作,譯本定會體現(xiàn)不同的語言特征。小說《邊城》是沈從文的優(yōu)秀作品之一,翻譯成多國外語后,在國外也得到了一致好評。小說語言生動美妙、地方色彩濃厚、民俗獨特,民俗風(fēng)情更是多姿多彩,作為一部飽含中國民俗文化的著作,給翻譯者們帶來了很大的難題。民俗翻譯的好與壞直接關(guān)系到小說《邊城》翻譯的成與敗。作者以《邊城》的戴乃迭譯本和金介甫譯本作為研究對...
