語篇分析的目的分為兩個(gè)方面:一是認(rèn)識(shí)語言的本質(zhì)和特點(diǎn);二是認(rèn)識(shí)語言所實(shí)現(xiàn)的意義和現(xiàn)實(shí)。語篇的銜接和連貫是語篇分析理論中最重要的兩個(gè)部分,語篇的銜接是形成連貫語篇的必要條件。語篇分析理論應(yīng)用于小說英譯研究中,有助于指導(dǎo)譯者更好地理解原語篇的意義,從而翻譯出更好的譯文。語篇分析理論與翻譯研究相結(jié)合,可以為古典小說英譯提供新思路。作為中國古典小說的代表作品,《聊齋志異》的英譯一直受國內(nèi)外學(xué)者的關(guān)注。但是當(dāng)前學(xué)者大多是從語篇分析理論的角度,對(duì)《聊齋志異》中某種單一形象的英譯研究。目前,運(yùn)用銜接和連貫理論分析《聊齋志異》的文獻(xiàn)相對(duì)較少。在這樣的背景下,本文以語篇分析理論中的銜接和連貫為基礎(chǔ),以《聊齋志異》英譯本為分析文本,通過舉例分析,進(jìn)一步發(fā)掘語篇分析理論對(duì)小說翻譯研究的作用和影響。具體研究問題如下:1、語篇分析理論對(duì)研究《聊齋志異》語篇英譯是否具有可行性?2、銜接理論在小說英譯過程中產(chǎn)生作用的具體層次有哪些?3、小說英譯過程中,如何處理影響小說連貫的主要因素?基于以上三個(gè)問題的研究,通過采用理論描述法、文本分析法和歸納法,以語篇分析理論中的銜接和連貫為理論視角,并以《聊齋志異》及其多個(gè)譯本為...
