David Ives的喜劇藝術(shù)及其對中國喜劇的借鑒意義

本文以喜劇作為一種話劇類型的發(fā)展變化為大環(huán)境,介紹了當(dāng)代美國最負(fù)盛名的喜劇作家之一的David Ives及其最受歡迎的幾部作品;依據(jù)喜劇令人感到滑稽,容易發(fā)笑的機(jī)制,分析了喜劇創(chuàng)作中常用的幽默設(shè)計,笑料制造的手法;在Ives的幾個代表獨幕劇劇作的基礎(chǔ)上探討了其喜劇藝術(shù),并將此與中國大陸的喜劇創(chuàng)作進(jìn)行比較對照,以期國內(nèi)的喜劇作家們能從中受到某些啟發(fā),最終對中國喜劇創(chuàng)作的繁榮和進(jìn)展起一定的借鑒作用。文章就三個方面分析了Ives喜劇作品的藝術(shù)。首先是主題。Ives的喜劇作品主題內(nèi)容豐富:既嘲弄了青年男女的愛情觀念與人際關(guān)系,又通過描寫人在工業(yè)化時代的迷茫與失落,諷刺了生活節(jié)奏日益加快,人難以適應(yīng)的現(xiàn)代社會;既有對輕視幻想在日常生活中的作用的人的挖苦,也嘲笑了以作家為代表的現(xiàn)代人沒有自由的困境和生存狀態(tài)。其次,以喜劇幽默設(shè)計中的夸張、不協(xié)調(diào) (incongruity)、機(jī)械動作 (automatism)、嘲弄 (derision)、滑稽戲仿 (parody)、具有音樂美的對話語言等各種手法為線索,分析了Ives令人捧腹的喜劇的藝術(shù)特點。第三方面研究了Ives對待移情 (empathy)作用的態(tài)...
