成都文化是蜀文化的代表,也是中國(guó)文化的有機(jī)組成部分。盡管成都文化是中國(guó)的地方文化,但是隨著全球化的不斷深入,它已越來(lái)越為外部世界所知。《成都街巷志》是一本通過(guò)介紹成都街巷來(lái)介紹成都?xì)v史文化的著作,介紹了發(fā)生在這些街巷的歷史事件和人物事跡,具有較為豐富的文化內(nèi)涵。中西方語(yǔ)言和文化存在差異,用英語(yǔ)準(zhǔn)確傳譯出本書(shū)的文化內(nèi)涵、讓它更能以英語(yǔ)國(guó)家讀者接受的方式傳遞是一個(gè)重要的課題。功能對(duì)等理論強(qiáng)調(diào)讀者反應(yīng),重在實(shí)現(xiàn)兩種語(yǔ)言間的對(duì)等,從這一理論的視域下翻譯這部著作可以較好地完成這一重要課題。鑒于此,本翻譯報(bào)告以功能對(duì)等理論為指導(dǎo)進(jìn)行了翻譯實(shí)踐。在翻譯實(shí)踐中,譯者將理論與實(shí)踐相結(jié)合,以讀者能理解和接受的方式翻譯文本、傳遞成都文化。譯者從詞匯、句法和語(yǔ)篇三個(gè)層面,對(duì)文本進(jìn)行了具體的分析。通過(guò)案例分析,主要闡述了在功能對(duì)等理論指導(dǎo)下的漢英翻譯中,語(yǔ)言的交際功能是可以實(shí)現(xiàn)的。本翻譯報(bào)告呈現(xiàn)了《成都街巷志》（節(jié)選）翻譯實(shí)踐的全過(guò)程,希望翻譯實(shí)踐所得對(duì)未來(lái)成都文化乃至巴蜀文化的翻譯研究能有一定的參考價(jià)值。
