【摘要】：本翻譯報告的文本節(jié)選自《認識世界:哲學(xué)史》(第一卷),該書作者為理查德·大衛(wèi)·普雷徹特。《認識世界:哲學(xué)史》是哲學(xué)史三部曲的第一卷,作者在書中揭示了西方哲學(xué)思想從古典時期到中世紀的發(fā)展。翻譯報告中的節(jié)選文本著重介紹了古希臘時期雅典地區(qū)哲學(xué)思想的發(fā)展。本翻譯報告在簡要介紹翻譯背景的基礎(chǔ)上,結(jié)合相關(guān)理論,對翻譯過程中狀語從句的翻譯難點及其處理方法進行了深入探討。本翻譯報告分為四章:第一章為引言,介紹了選題的背景和意義以及報告的結(jié)構(gòu)。第二章對原文本和作者進行了介紹。第三章闡述了相關(guān)理論基礎(chǔ)。第四章為翻譯中的重難點分析和解決辦法,筆者通過舉例分析概括翻譯中所遇到的一些典型案例,并通過補充和省略連詞,融合與分離,調(diào)整語句順序,轉(zhuǎn)換句式等翻譯策略來解決問題。第五章為總結(jié),包括筆者通過此次翻譯實踐所得的啟發(fā)與不足,以及對筆者及其他譯者的建議。
[Abstract]:Excerpts of this translation report from the first volume of the Trilogy of the History of philosophy, by Richard David Pratcht. "understanding the World: a History of philosophy." In the book, the author reveals the development of western philosophy from the classical period to the Middle Ages. The excerpts from the translated report focus on the development of philosophy in Athens during the ancient Greek period. On the basis of a brief introduction of the translation background and the relevant theories, this paper makes an in-depth study of the difficulties in translation of adverbial clauses and their processing methods. The translation report is divided into four chapters: the first chapter introduces the background and significance of the topic and the structure of the report. The second chapter introduces the original text and the author. The third chapter describes the relevant theoretical basis. The fourth chapter is the analysis and solution of the important and difficult points in translation. The author summarizes some typical cases in translation by examples, and adjusts the sentence order by adding and omitting conjunctions, merging and separating, and adjusting the order of sentences. Translation strategies to solve problems. The fifth chapter is a summary, including the author's inspiration and deficiency through the translation practice, as well as suggestions to the author and other translators.
