【摘要】：篇章語言學興起之前,翻譯研究還局限于詞對詞、句對句的翻譯。二十世紀七十年代后,隨著篇章語言學的興起和發(fā)展,許多翻譯研究者也逐步認識到譯者在翻譯過程中處理的并非一個個單獨的詞句,而是一系列連續(xù)的詞句為達到一定的交際目的而組合成的語篇,因此提出譯者翻譯的焦點應該從詞句擴展到句群、語篇。銜接,作為將語篇各部分連接起來的紐帶,是生成語篇的首要條件,在翻譯實踐中意義重大。銜接手段運用的得當與否直接關系到對原文的理解和譯文的質量。因此本文主要探討英漢翻譯中的銜接問題,目的是研究學習英漢翻譯中如何巧妙自然地處理翻譯中的銜接問題。本文以自傳體Wish You Happy Forever(《愿你永遠快樂》)第一、二章的翻譯實踐作為研究對象。筆者首先介紹了本次翻譯任務的文本內(nèi)容以及任務意義,然后闡述了具體的翻譯過程。接著,筆者以韓禮德的銜接理論以及朱永生、鄭立信和苗興偉在《英漢語篇銜接手段對比研究》中的研究成果為理論框架,試圖找出本次翻譯實踐中原文和譯文在銜接方面的差異,提高譯文質量以及今后處理此類問題的能力。
[Abstract]:Before the rise of textual linguistics, translation studies were confined to the translation of word pairs and sentence pairs. Since the 1970s, with the rise and development of textual linguistics, many translation researchers have come to realize that the translator does not deal with individual words and sentences in the process of translation. Instead, a series of consecutive words and sentences are combined to achieve a certain communicative purpose. Therefore, it is suggested that the focus of translation should be extended from sentences to sentence groups and texts. Cohesion, as the tie that connects all parts of the text, is the primary condition of the idiom text, and it is of great significance in translation practice. The proper use of cohesive devices is directly related to the understanding of the original text and the quality of the translation. The purpose of this paper is to study how to deal with cohesion in English and Chinese translation naturally and skillfully. This paper focuses on the translation practice in chapters 1 and 2 of the autobiographical wish you Happy Forever. The author first introduces the text content and task significance of this translation task, and then expounds the specific translation process. Then, the author uses Halliday's cohesion theory and the research results of Zhu Yongsheng, Zheng Lixin and Miao Xingwei in the contrastive study of cohesive devices in English and Chinese discourse as the theoretical framework. This paper attempts to find out the differences in cohesion between the original and the translated text in this translation practice, and to improve the quality of the translation and the ability to deal with such problems in the future.
