【摘要】：本文是一篇翻譯實踐報告。翻譯項目的原文節(jié)選自夏威夷大學哲學系教授成中英編著的《C理論——中國管理哲學》的第3章第8-10節(jié)。該書首版于1999年。作為海外儒學研究代表人物,成中英教授長年致力于在西方世界介紹中國哲學。其著作《C理論——中國管理哲學》是他思想精華之作,融合了中國管理傳統(tǒng)智慧和西方科學管理,不僅在管理學專業(yè)學生以及對管理學感興趣的老師中廣受好評,就連一些企業(yè)家也對該書頗為贊許。此書的翻譯,作為無國界思想交流和分享的橋梁,對管理學的進步有著重大意義。本文將從句內和句際兩個層面分析信息結構理論對翻譯實踐的具體指導意義。在句內層面,每個單獨句子的新信息將通過定語從句和狀語從句來體現。在句際層面,通過選取存在邏輯關系的句子,如因果關系和解釋關系,作者將會相應地研究信息結構理論在句際翻譯層面的運用。信息結構理論很少用于指導漢譯英的翻譯實踐,因此信息結構理論視角的翻譯實踐將為譯者提供新的翻譯視角,生成既連貫可讀性又高的目標文本。
[Abstract]:This paper is a translation practice report. The original excerpt of the translation project is from Chapter 3, Section 8-10, by Cheng Zhongying, Professor of philosophy, Department of philosophy, University of Hawaii. The first edition of the book was in 1999. As a representative of overseas Confucian studies, Professor Cheng Zhongying has devoted years to introducing Chinese philosophy in the western world. His book "C Theory-Chinese philosophy of Management" is the essence of his thoughts, which combines the traditional wisdom of Chinese management with western scientific management, and is widely praised not only by management students but also by teachers interested in management. Even some entrepreneurs praise the book. The translation of this book, as a bridge for the exchange and sharing of borderless ideas, is of great significance to the progress of management. This paper analyzes the practical significance of information structure theory in translation practice at both the intra-clause and inter-sentence levels. At the intra-sentence level, the new information of each individual sentence will be reflected by attributive clauses and adverbial clauses. At the intersentence level, by selecting sentences with logical relationships, such as causality and interpretation, the author will study the application of information structure theory in intersentence translation. The information structure theory is rarely used to guide the translation practice in C-E translation. Therefore, the translation practice from the perspective of information structure theory will provide the translator with a new translation perspective and produce a target text with high coherence and readability.
