【摘要】：本翻譯實踐報告是以筆者翻譯的彼得·瓦利、史蒂夫·泰勒和托尼·約翰斯頓共同撰寫的《探險旅游:意義、經(jīng)驗與學習》的第一章為基礎,對翻譯實踐活動進行剖析和總結。隨著社會進步,更多的人開始滿足精神上的需求,探索更廣闊的世界。旅游業(yè)發(fā)展迅速,探險旅游成為一種新興的旅游形式,給游者帶來更多的刺激。同時,各類旅游讀物琳瑯滿目,對此類文本的翻譯也影響到旅游業(yè)的發(fā)展。通過進行本次翻譯實踐,可以為同類文本的翻譯提供借鑒,提升廣大旅游愛好者對探險旅游的認識,促進旅游業(yè)的發(fā)展。本報告主要由翻譯的任務描述、過程描述、案例分析和實踐總結四部分組成。任務描述包括任務背景和性質(zhì)。過程描述是對翻譯任務具體完成情況的介紹。案例分析部分對其中遇到的問題和解決方案進行剖析,涉及到專有名詞和特定語境詞語的翻譯、長句的拆分與組合、引用文本的處理以及文本的簡潔性等問題,在彼得·紐馬克翻譯理論指導下,對遇到的問題提出解決方案,并對同類問題進行思考。實踐總結部分對翻譯實踐中尚未解決的問題做出總結。本實踐報告希望能為相關翻譯活動提供有益參考。
[Abstract]:This translation practice report is based on the first chapter of "Adventure Tourism: meaning, experience and Learning", which is written by Peter Waley, Steve Taylor and Tony Johnston.As society progresses, more people begin to meet their spiritual needs and explore a wider world.With the rapid development of tourism, adventure tourism has become a new form of tourism.At the same time, various kinds of tourist reading materials, the translation of such texts also affect the development of tourism.Through this translation practice, we can provide reference for the translation of similar texts, enhance the tourism lovers' understanding of adventure tourism, and promote the development of tourism.This report consists of four parts: task description, process description, case analysis and practice summary.The task description includes the background and nature of the task.The process description is an introduction to the completion of the translation task.In the part of case analysis, the problems and solutions are analyzed, including the translation of proper nouns and specific contextual words, the separation and combination of long sentences, the processing of quoting text and the conciseness of the text.Under the guidance of Peter Newmark's translation theory, the author puts forward solutions to the problems encountered and thinks about the same problems.In the part of practice summary, the unsolved problems in translation practice are summarized.This practice report hopes to provide useful reference for related translation activities.
