人際語法隱喻視域下英漢“僥幸”類副詞性關(guān)聯(lián)詞語的比較研究

【摘要】:副詞性關(guān)聯(lián)詞語作為英漢語言中的一個重要詞類,已漸漸進(jìn)入人們研究的熱點范圍。系統(tǒng)功能語法理論中的人際隱喻在學(xué)術(shù)研究中也備受關(guān)注。但從人際語法隱喻,尤其是情態(tài)隱喻視角下,對英漢副詞性關(guān)聯(lián)詞語進(jìn)行比較研究的成果還較為少見。本文集中探究fortunately,luckily,happily及xinghao(幸好)、xingkui(幸虧)、haozai(好在)此三對副詞性關(guān)聯(lián)詞語的隱喻特征,并分別從英國國家語料庫和北京大學(xué)語料庫中隨機(jī)選取200條例句作為語料。作者對含有副詞性關(guān)聯(lián)詞語的隱喻句進(jìn)行了定性分析,并試圖找出該類副詞的隱喻特征。同時,作者還定量分析了這三對詞語與情態(tài)隱喻表達(dá)的合用頻率特點。論文第一章介紹了研究的背景、方法、布局、目的和意義;第二章闡述了前人關(guān)于人際隱喻和副詞性關(guān)聯(lián)詞語的研究;第三、四、五章為本文的主體部分,重點從三個方面討論了英漢副詞性關(guān)聯(lián)詞語的隱喻特征:類型特征、向度特征和情態(tài)量值特征,并在第五章比較分析了三對副詞的隱喻特征;第六章為結(jié)論部分,包括論文的主要發(fā)現(xiàn)、局限以及對今后研究的一些建議。經(jīng)分析可以發(fā)現(xiàn):1.“l(fā)uckily-幸虧”這一對在隱喻表達(dá)中出現(xiàn)的最頻繁,緊接著的是“fortunately-幸好”,最后是“happily-好在”。2.所有這些副詞性關(guān)聯(lián)詞語都在帶有頻率這一類型特征的隱喻中出現(xiàn)最多。3.關(guān)于隱喻的主客觀情況,“happily”主客觀數(shù)量分布相當(dāng),而在另外兩對中,中文的副詞性關(guān)聯(lián)詞語偏向于客觀隱喻,英語對應(yīng)詞的情況則完全不同。4.“僥幸”類副詞性關(guān)聯(lián)詞語和帶有中間量值的隱喻連用較多。本研究旨在填補(bǔ)從情態(tài)隱喻角度對副詞性關(guān)聯(lián)詞語研究的不足,希望能夠為英漢情態(tài)隱喻的翻譯提供借鑒,為副詞性關(guān)聯(lián)詞語的教學(xué)提供新視角,同時能夠幫助讀者更精確地理解文學(xué)作品。此外,希望通過深入的分析和清楚的闡述,能夠為對外漢語教學(xué)和英語教學(xué)提供規(guī)則描寫和理論解釋上的參考和服務(wù),為對外漢語學(xué)習(xí)和英語學(xué)習(xí)提供幫助。
[Abstract]:As an important part of speech in English and Chinese, adverb associative words have gradually entered the hot area of people's research. Interpersonal metaphor in the theory of systemic functional grammar has also attracted much attention in academic studies. However, from the perspective of interpersonal grammatical metaphor, especially modal metaphor, the comparative study of English and Chinese adverb related words is rare. This paper focuses on the metaphorical features of the three pairs of adverbs, fortune lucky and lucky, and randomly selects 200 regulations from the National Corpus of England and the corpus of Peking University. The author makes a qualitative analysis of metaphorical sentences with adverb related words and tries to find out the metaphorical characteristics of these adverbs. At the same time, the author also quantitatively analyzed the characteristics of the three pairs of words and modal metaphors. The first chapter introduces the background, method, layout, purpose and significance of the study; the second chapter describes the previous researches on interpersonal metaphor and adverb related words; the third, fourth, and fifth chapters are the main part of this thesis. This paper mainly discusses the metaphorical features of English and Chinese adverb related words from three aspects: type, orientation and modal value, and compares and analyzes the metaphorical characteristics of three pairs of adverbs in Chapter 5. Chapter 6 is the conclusion. Including the main findings of the paper, limitations and some suggestions for future research. By analysis, we can find that the pair of "luckily- lucky" are the most frequently used in metaphor expression, followed by "lucky", and finally "happily- fortunately". All these adverb related words appear most frequently in metaphors with frequency. As for the subjective and objective situation of metaphor, the quantity of "happily" is similar, but in the other two pairs, the adverb relative words in Chinese tend to be objective metaphor, and the case of English counterpart is completely different. Fluke adverbs and metaphors with intermediate values are often used. The purpose of this study is to fill in the deficiency of the study of adverbial associative words from the perspective of modal metaphor, in the hope of providing a new perspective for the translation of modal metaphors between English and Chinese, and for the teaching of paratymic associative words. At the same time, it can help readers to understand literary works more accurately. In addition, it is hoped that through in-depth analysis and clear elaboration, it can provide reference and service in the description of rules and theoretical interpretation for teaching Chinese as a foreign language and English teaching, as well as help in learning Chinese as a foreign language and learning English as a foreign language.
