論印象主義在約瑟夫·康拉德《黑暗的心》中的運(yùn)用

  約瑟夫·康拉德(1857—1924)是19世紀(jì)末20世紀(jì)初英國文壇的重要作家之一。他的眾多作品被公認(rèn)為文學(xué)經(jīng)典?道碌男≌f《黑暗的心》于1899年以連載的形式發(fā)表于當(dāng)時極具盛譽(yù)的文學(xué)雜志《布萊克伍德雜志》。小說一經(jīng)發(fā)表,立即引起評論界的關(guān)注,并好評如潮。在康拉德眾多優(yōu)秀的小說作品中,《黑暗的心》占有重要的地位。康拉德的航海生涯長達(dá)二十余年,航海生活是他的重要創(chuàng)作源泉。小說《黑暗的心》講述了船長馬洛在一艘停靠于倫敦外的海船上敘述的關(guān)于自己在非洲剛果河所經(jīng)歷的故事。小說自問世以來一直是研究者和評論家們關(guān)注和研究的焦點(diǎn)。在眾多的研究評論中,重點(diǎn)在于對這部小說的人物、主題、小說中所體現(xiàn)的殖民觀、道德觀的探討。綜觀國內(nèi)外的研究,本文作者發(fā)現(xiàn),康拉德的印象主義藝術(shù)創(chuàng)作主張和創(chuàng)作手法雖已有所涉及,但尚未有學(xué)者地對《黑暗的心》這部小說中所體現(xiàn)的印象主義創(chuàng)作手法進(jìn)行系統(tǒng)、全面的討論和研究。鑒于康拉德在小說《“水仙”號船上的黑水手》(1897)、他的個人自傳和他與朋友來往信件中所闡明的藝術(shù)主張、以及《黑暗的心》這部小說中所體現(xiàn)的印象主義因素,本文主要探討印象主義創(chuàng)作手法在康拉德的《黑暗的心》中運(yùn)用。具體...
