本文以系統(tǒng)功能語言學(xué)的人際功能理論為基礎(chǔ),分析、探討了著名的女性小說家簡·奧斯汀的代表作《傲慢與偏見》中人物對話體現(xiàn)出來的人際意義特征。通過分析對話中體現(xiàn)出來的人際意義,本文發(fā)現(xiàn)了從小句和語氣角度來解讀文學(xué)作品的新視角。人際功能是韓禮德的系統(tǒng)功能語言學(xué)中三大元功能之一,它可以被用來探索小說中不同人物之間的人際關(guān)系,以及各人物的性格。通過在小句和語氣層面上對人際意義的分析,本文還發(fā)現(xiàn),人物性格和各人物之間的人際關(guān)系與他們的話輪,小句的密度和語氣模式的選擇密切相關(guān)。各個人物的話輪多少、小句密度和語氣模式的選擇受到三個主要因素的影響,它們分別是:各人物在對話中擁有的話語權(quán)力,各人物在對話中的情感投入程度和對話的主題。這三個因素又相互作用,相互影響。為了證明這三個因素對人物性格和各人物之間的人際關(guān)系的影響,作者運用統(tǒng)計的方法,對不同人物在各對話中使用的小句和語氣特點進行了比較分析。在分析的基礎(chǔ)上,作者又討論了在對話中各人物在對話中的話語權(quán)力,話題選擇和個人情感投入程度是如何反應(yīng)人際關(guān)系的。通過比較和分析,我們發(fā)現(xiàn),對話中人物擁有的話語權(quán)力,話題與對話參與者的相關(guān)程度和各人物的情感投入程度密切相...
