【摘要】：賽珍珠因?qū)χ袊r(nóng)民形象的卓越刻畫而著名,她描寫了20世紀(jì)30年代中國農(nóng)民的真實(shí)生活狀態(tài)：對土地的高度依賴、亂世堅(jiān)韌的生存、麻木的精神狀態(tài)以及在男權(quán)社會(huì)中女性的悲慘命運(yùn)。雖然不是一個(gè)戰(zhàn)斗性很強(qiáng)的女權(quán)主義者,但賽珍珠無論在小說還是在非小說中,都關(guān)注并思考著婦女的命運(yùn)和地位問題,她更是對中國婦女的獨(dú)特命運(yùn)和地位有著深刻的觀察。這是由于受家庭環(huán)境的影響,賽珍珠早年就親眼目睹了時(shí)代強(qiáng)加在有天賦,有頭腦的婦女身上的重負(fù)并為此感到沉痛。 《母親》是賽珍珠的代表作之一,她在該小說中塑造的無名無姓的中國母親堅(jiān)韌不拔,敢于與命運(yùn)抗?fàn)?可以說她的身上透露出一股震撼人心的力量�！澳赣H”個(gè)性倔強(qiáng),勇敢且精力充沛。作為農(nóng)民的妻子,她整天與丈夫在田間勞作,回到家還得操持家務(wù),照料丈夫、孩子和年邁的婆婆,她的身上充分體現(xiàn)出中國傳統(tǒng)婦女的品質(zhì)--三從四德,以傳宗接代為己任。同時(shí),這位中國母親為兒女所作的犧牲又和普天之下所有的“母親”是如出一轍的,她的無名無姓更加體現(xiàn)出了作者所塑造的這一人物的普遍意義。此外,作為賽珍珠筆下的典型的中國女性形象,“母親”身上既有女性意識(shí)的初步覺醒,又深切體現(xiàn)著父權(quán)制社會(huì)中女子的不幸命運(yùn),而這兩者又可以和上文提到的母親身上所帶有的中國女性的特殊性和“母親”的普遍意義找到很好的契合點(diǎn)。這篇論文嘗試從女性主義的角度分析“母親”這一女性形象。 論文分為四部分,第一部分分析“母親”這一形象所具有的中國傳統(tǒng)女性的美德,指出這是父權(quán)制的中國舊社會(huì)中女性不得不扮演的角色；第二部分指出無名無姓的“母親”和全天下大多數(shù)母親一樣在忍受著父權(quán)制社會(huì)的壓制,為了丈夫、兒女和家庭毫無保留的付出；第三部分主要討論“母親”身上所體現(xiàn)出的新女性的特征,指出在一定程度上母親的女性自我意識(shí)有所覺醒；第四部分是結(jié)論,賽珍珠所塑造的“母親”這一形象女性意識(shí)有一定覺醒,但總體而言,她仍是一位深受父權(quán)制壓迫的中國傳統(tǒng)女性,是世界上大多數(shù)“母親”形象的縮影。
[Abstract]:Best known for her remarkable portrayal of Chinese farmers, Pearl Buck describes the true state of life of Chinese farmers in the 1930s: their high dependence on land, their persevering existence in troubled times. The numb state of mind and the tragic fate of women in a patriarchal society. Although she is not a feminist with a strong combat nature, Pearl Buck, whether in fiction or in non-fiction, is concerned with and ponders over the fate and status of women, and she has a profound observation of the unique fate and status of Chinese women. This is because of the influence of the family environment, Pearl Buck's early years to witness the times imposed on talented, intelligent women to feel the burden of the pain. Mother is one of Pearl Buck's masterpieces. The unnamed Chinese mother in this novel, who is indomitable and dares to fight with fate, can be said to reveal a powerful force in her body. Mother is stubborn, brave and energetic. As the wife of a farmer, she worked in the fields with her husband all day long, and had to work in the household and take care of her husband, children and elderly mother-in-law. It is our duty to inherit from one generation to another. At the same time, the sacrifice made by the Chinese mother for her children is the same as all the "mothers" in the world, and her nameless name reflects the universal significance of the character created by the author. In addition, as a typical image of Chinese women in Pearl S. Buck's writings, "Mother" not only has the initial awakening of female consciousness, but also deeply reflects the unfortunate fate of women in the patriarchal society. And these two can find a good agreement with the particularity of Chinese women and the universal meaning of "mother" mentioned above. This paper attempts to analyze the female image of "Mother" from a feminist perspective. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part analyzes the traditional female virtue of "mother", and points out that it is the role that women have to play in the patriarchal old Chinese society. The second part points out that the nameless "mother", like most mothers in the world, is suffering from the oppression of patriarchal society, and pays without reservation for her husband, children and family. The third part mainly discusses the characteristics of new women embodied in "mother", and points out that the female self-consciousness of mother is awakened to a certain extent. The fourth part is the conclusion that the female consciousness of "mother" created by Pearl Buck is awakened to some extent, but generally speaking, she is still a traditional Chinese woman oppressed by patriarchy and a microcosm of most of the images of "mother" in the world.
