【摘要】：喬治·奧威爾（1903-1950）是20世紀最具有政治影響力的作家。他洞察力敏銳，文筆犀利。自1936年起，他的作品都直接或間接的指向了極權(quán)主義。其中，1945年于英國首次出版的《動物莊園》影響力巨大，，堪稱世界文壇史上最著名的政治諷喻小說。而最引人注意的是奧威爾強調(diào)了極權(quán)主義利用語言的力量愚弄操控了人民，因此本論文旨在以修辭學的角度來剖析《動物莊園》中“政客”們進行的政治宣傳。 運用亞里士多德的《修辭術(shù)》理論中的三個角度來具體分析《動物莊園》中的動物“政客”們是如何利用修辭術(shù)的：第一章解析“政客”們?nèi)绾卫萌N訴諸，即采用人品訴諸、情感訴諸和理性訴諸來煽動農(nóng)場民眾；第二章分析“政客”們?nèi)绾吾槍Σ煌^眾制定三種演講方式，即利用法學演講、議政演講和宣德禮儀演講來為其統(tǒng)治辯護；第三章分析“政客”們?nèi)绾伍_展五個準備階段（取材、布局謀篇、文體風格、記憶和演講技巧）來宣傳操控動物民眾。 最后本文得出結(jié)論，《動物莊園》中的“政客”們成功利用了修辭術(shù)一步一步進行政治宣傳，達到了極權(quán)主義剝奪大眾話語權(quán)的目的。而大眾面對謊言，也只是接受和無奈。在《我為何而寫作》中，奧威爾曾經(jīng)說過“我之所以寫一部書，并不是要加工一部藝術(shù)品，而是因為我有謊言要揭露”。這也是本論文的目的，即從亞里士多德的《修辭術(shù)》角度更深層次解讀奧威爾對政治謊言的揭露。
[Abstract]:George Orwell (1903-1950) was the most politically influential writer of the 20 th century. He is perceptive and sharp in writing. Since 1936, his works have been directed directly or indirectly towards totalitarianism. Among them, Animal Farm, first published in Britain in 1945, is one of the most famous political allegorical novels in the history of the world. What is most remarkable is that Orwell emphasizes that totalitarianism uses the power of language to fool and manipulate the people, so this paper aims to analyze the political propaganda of "politicians" in Animal Farm from a rhetorical perspective. Using the three angles of Aristotle's rhetoric theory, this paper analyzes how the animal "politicians" in Animal Farm make use of rhetoric: the first chapter analyzes how "politicians" make use of three kinds of appeal. The second chapter analyzes how "politicians" develop three kinds of speech methods for different audiences, that is, the use of legal speech. The third chapter analyzes how "politicians" carry out five preparation stages (material selection, layout, stylistic style, memory and speech skills) to promote the manipulation of animals. Finally, this paper draws a conclusion that the politicians in Animal Farm have successfully used rhetoric to carry out political propaganda step by step, thus achieving the goal of totalitarianism depriving the public of the right to speak. And the public face lies, but also accept and helpless. In Why I write, Orwell once said, "the reason I write a book is not to make a work of art, but because I have a lie to expose." This is the purpose of this thesis, that is to interpret Orwell's revelation of political lies from Aristotle's rhetoric.
