19世紀(jì)末,當(dāng)文學(xué)領(lǐng)域不斷出現(xiàn)各種思潮時,托馬斯·哈代（1840-1928）積極地在思想內(nèi)容、主題以及技巧等方面進(jìn)行創(chuàng)新。例如,在描繪女性形象時,哈代摒棄了將她們簡單劃分為天使和魔鬼的傳統(tǒng),而是試圖表現(xiàn)出她們豐富的自我意識和獨立的思想�！哆�鄉(xiāng)》中的尤斯塔西雅就是哈代筆下極具進(jìn)步思想和自我意識的典型女性人物。因此,尤斯塔西雅也自然成為國內(nèi)外研究的熱點。本文在梳理了前人對《還鄉(xiāng)》的研究基礎(chǔ)上,從拉康主體理論的視角來解讀尤斯塔西雅的心理和精神的發(fā)展軌跡,旨在挖掘其悲慘命運的歸因。尤斯塔西雅的心理發(fā)展過程可大致分為三個階段。在想象界中,由于自戀情結(jié),尤斯塔西雅誤認(rèn)了自己,在精神上逐漸走向分裂和異化。對自己的誤認(rèn)導(dǎo)致了尤斯塔西雅進(jìn)一步誤認(rèn)了她的愛人和生活。在象征界中,父母的缺席導(dǎo)致了尤斯塔西雅對象征界的大他者:埃格頓荒原和維多利亞時代社會的無知和無畏的態(tài)度。由于主體總是被象征界的大他者主導(dǎo),所以尤斯塔西雅對埃格頓荒原和維多利亞社會的反抗不可避免地走向失敗。在實在界中,尤斯塔西雅精神上遭受極大的創(chuàng)傷,這創(chuàng)傷源于她在想象界中的誤認(rèn)及其在象征界中對大他者的反抗。她渴望巴黎,一個象征自由和獨立的地方,但...
