《圣經(jīng)》漢譯思想之變遷

  《圣經(jīng)》不僅是基督教的經(jīng)典,也是世界上最重要的經(jīng)典著作之一!妒ソ(jīng)》翻譯源遠(yuǎn)流長(zhǎng),至唐代以來(lái),《圣經(jīng)》漢譯已有1400多年的歷史了,其重要性在中國(guó)歷史上不容忽視。在這個(gè)漫長(zhǎng)的時(shí)期內(nèi),歷經(jīng)很多傳教士和中國(guó)學(xué)者的艱苦努力,出現(xiàn)了許多版本。在《圣經(jīng)》的漢譯過(guò)程中,面對(duì)不同宗教和不同文化的巨大差異,譯者既要忠實(shí)于《圣經(jīng)》的原典性,又要設(shè)法讓中國(guó)人讀懂,因此該經(jīng)典的漢譯過(guò)程也是中西文化碰撞和交流的過(guò)程。在這個(gè)過(guò)程中,《圣經(jīng)》漢譯思想也是在不斷的探索中發(fā)生變遷。唐代,景教開(kāi)始傳入中國(guó),面對(duì)強(qiáng)勢(shì)的中國(guó)文化,景教士在譯介時(shí)采取了比附佛道詞匯,奉行尊重宗教概念本土化的翻譯思想。明清之際,中國(guó)國(guó)勢(shì)依然強(qiáng)盛,耶穌會(huì)士開(kāi)始依附儒家及傳統(tǒng)的中國(guó)文化觀念并以“學(xué)術(shù)傳教”的譯介思想來(lái)宣傳基督教義。19世紀(jì)初,馬禮遜力求忠實(shí)、明達(dá)和簡(jiǎn)易,開(kāi)始尋求忠實(shí)于文本的翻譯思想。19世紀(jì)末20世紀(jì)初的《官話和合本》達(dá)到了《圣經(jīng)》翻譯的最高峰,其忠于原文本,甚至傾向于字面對(duì)等,使得該譯本至今仍是中國(guó)基督教教會(huì)所使用的版本。20世紀(jì)后期的《現(xiàn)代中文譯本》也是近代重要版本之一,其以奈達(dá)的動(dòng)態(tài)對(duì)等為主要依歸。本文通過(guò)梳理《圣經(jīng)》漢譯史上...
