《人性的污穢》中的創(chuàng)傷

【摘要】:菲利普·羅斯的新現(xiàn)實(shí)主義作品《人性的污穢》是“美國(guó)三部曲”的最后一部,也是其作品從早期以描述猶太人生活為主的現(xiàn)實(shí)主義和后現(xiàn)代實(shí)驗(yàn)主義的回歸。然而很少有評(píng)論家從創(chuàng)傷角度來(lái)分析這部小說(shuō)。菲利普·羅斯在這本小說(shuō)中試圖在不同群體中描述人們所受到的創(chuàng)傷使創(chuàng)傷的歷史瞬間能夠顯現(xiàn)。本文文本細(xì)讀為基本方法,,試圖從創(chuàng)傷角度探討小說(shuō)中的主要人物所遭受的創(chuàng)傷及以此映射出的當(dāng)代美國(guó)社會(huì)所存在的種族、越戰(zhàn)、女性等各種問(wèn)題。 論文除了引言和結(jié)語(yǔ)有三章。第一章分析了以科爾曼為代表的黑人的種族創(chuàng)傷,分析了他受創(chuàng)傷的原因,其癥狀,及試圖走出創(chuàng)傷的方法揭示當(dāng)代美國(guó)黑人所處的困境;第二章分析了以萊斯特為代表的越戰(zhàn)老兵在戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)中受到的創(chuàng)傷,分析其受創(chuàng)傷的原因,其癥狀及試圖走出創(chuàng)傷的方法反思越戰(zhàn)老兵在美國(guó)社會(huì)的境況;第三章分析了以福妮雅為代表的女性受到的創(chuàng)傷,分析其原因,癥狀及試圖走出創(chuàng)傷的方法來(lái)說(shuō)明女性在美國(guó)社會(huì)中的問(wèn)題。 本篇論文從創(chuàng)傷角度對(duì)《人性的污穢》中各種群體代表人物的創(chuàng)傷進(jìn)行分析以揭示羅斯對(duì)當(dāng)代美國(guó)各種社會(huì)問(wèn)題的思考及其對(duì)于文學(xué)作品的意義,并希望引起人們對(duì)這些問(wèn)題的關(guān)注。從創(chuàng)傷角度分析這部小說(shuō)無(wú)論是從主題還是風(fēng)格都是可行的,希望本篇論文對(duì)此方面研究有些許助益。
[Abstract]:Philip Roth's neo-realism, "the pollution of Human Nature", is the last part of the American trilogy, and the return of his works from the early realism and post-modern experimentalism, which mainly describes Jewish life. Yet few critics analyze the novel from a traumatic point of view. In this novel, Philip Ross attempts to describe in different groups the trauma that has made the history of trauma visible. This paper attempts to explore the trauma of the main characters in the novel from the perspective of trauma and the problems of race, Vietnam War and women in contemporary American society. There are three chapters in the thesis except introduction and conclusion. The first chapter analyzes the racial trauma of black man represented by Coleman, analyzes the causes of his trauma, its symptoms, and attempts to reveal the plight of contemporary black Americans. The second chapter analyzes the trauma of the Vietnam veterans represented by Leicester in the war, analyzes the causes of the trauma, its symptoms and attempts to go out of the trauma to reflect on the situation of Vietnam veterans in the American society; The third chapter analyzes the female trauma, the causes, the symptoms and the method of trying to get out of the trauma to explain the problems of women in American society. From the perspective of trauma, this paper analyzes the trauma of the representatives of various groups in "the pollution of Human Nature" in order to reveal Ross's consideration of various social problems in contemporary America and its significance to literary works. And hope to arouse people's attention to these problems. It is feasible to analyze the novel from the perspective of trauma, whether from the theme or the style.
