【摘要】：《新青年》是新文化運動中的重要刊物,在中國社會文化轉型中起著重要的作用。該期刊以民主、科學為旗幟,圍繞“反封倡新”發(fā)表了大量原創(chuàng)作品和文學譯作。在《新青年》的譯作中,戲劇翻譯作品數(shù)量雖不多,卻折射出時代大背景下期刊翻譯文學的獨特面貌。戲劇譯者為迎合時代需要而對原作進行的改寫詮釋了轉型時期的主流文學思潮對翻譯話語的影響。因此,對《新青年》戲劇翻譯的研究及對其外部文化環(huán)境的考察將為我們透視五四時期的翻譯理論語境提供一個重要的切入點。勒弗菲爾的改寫理論為文學翻譯提供了新的研究視角。它立足于翻譯的文化層面,強調翻譯是一種改寫,改寫即操縱,指出不同歷史時期的改寫要受特定的社會意識形態(tài)和主流詩學的操控,并最終與權力相聯(lián)系,變成為其服務的一種手段。該理論的核心是強調翻譯活動不是在真空中進行的,而是受到意識形態(tài)、詩學和贊助人等三個因素的操控。本文圍繞改寫理論的三個操控因素對《新青年》中的戲劇譯介進行了全面分析,深入發(fā)掘了改寫理論對這一典型翻譯現(xiàn)象的闡釋力,并進一步解讀其對中國文學歷史乃至文化發(fā)展的貢獻。
