《活著》是我國當代作家余華的代表作之一,這部作品以雙敘述視角的模式講述了建國前后在國家經(jīng)歷了巨大變遷的大背景下福貴老人的一生。小說的語言樸實無華,但卻在簡單的語言中給予讀者心靈上的震撼。此外,小說的背景是新中國時期的農(nóng)村,語言的特點也非常符合人物形象。其英譯本由美國加州大學教授白睿文完成。此研究旨在,通過運用文學文體學對《活著》的英譯本進行批評,進而闡釋其指導(dǎo)下的分析模式和方法對文學翻譯的指導(dǎo)價值。論文采用細讀法對文中前景化的文體特征進行了定性,通過比較法對原文和譯文的表述和審美效果進行了對比,進而對原文和譯文的審美價值進行比較評估。研究表明,白睿文的《活著》英譯本在很大程度上忠實于原文的內(nèi)容,實現(xiàn)了與原文相似的審美價值,恰到好處地向目標讀者介紹了此部深入人心的作品,但也有審美缺失和誤譯的現(xiàn)象存在。具體的實例研究證明,文學文體學對文學作品分析以及文學翻譯批評有著實用且具體的指導(dǎo)意義。
