【摘要】： 二十世紀六十年代,韓禮德的系統(tǒng)功能語法開始逐漸在語言學研究領域嶄露頭角。它為語篇分析提供了一個理論框架,提出了三個元功能的概念,既概念功能,人際功能,和語篇功能。從此開創(chuàng)了一個語篇分析的新視角。 本文運用系統(tǒng)功能語法對晉代詩人陶淵明的飲酒五及六個不同譯本進行分析,為詩詞的比較翻譯提供一個新的角度。同時,通過分析原文和譯文的語篇,衡量譯文的得失,來驗證系統(tǒng)功能語言學在詩詞翻譯領域中的適用性和可操作性。本文以系統(tǒng)功能語法的核心思想——三大元功能為理論框架,分別對比原文及譯文在實現(xiàn)語篇的概念功能,人際功能和語篇功能時所運用的手段的異同。 本文通過研究揭示了不同譯者翻譯過程中,譯作在過程和情態(tài)方面更容易與原作保持一致。但在主位系統(tǒng)中,由于漢英語言結(jié)構差異及英語對于語言結(jié)構在形式上要求的嚴謹,譯者為闡釋作者的原意及意圖常常需要改變主位述位結(jié)構,并使用有效的鏈接手段,從而證實體現(xiàn)出系統(tǒng)功能語法在詩詞翻譯的實際應用中的可行性和科學性。
[Abstract]:In 1960 s, Halliday's systemic functional grammar began to emerge in the field of linguistic research. It provides a theoretical framework for discourse analysis and puts forward the concepts of three metafunctions, namely conceptual function, interpersonal function, and textual function. Since then, a new perspective of discourse analysis has been opened up. This paper analyzes five and six different versions of drinking by Tao Yuanming, a poet of Jin Dynasty, by using systemic functional grammar, so as to provide a new angle for the comparative translation of poems. At the same time, the applicability and maneuverability of systemic functional linguistics in the field of poetry translation are verified by analyzing the original text and the translated text and measuring the gains and losses of the target text. Based on the theoretical framework of the three metafunctions, the core idea of systemic functional grammar, this paper compares the similarities and differences between the original text and the target text in realizing the conceptual function, interpersonal function and textual function of the text. Through the study, this paper reveals that the translated works are more likely to be consistent with the original in terms of process and modality in different translators' translation processes. However, in the thematic system, due to the differences between Chinese and English language structures and the strict formal requirements of English for language structure, translators often need to change the thematic rheme structure and use effective linking means to explain the original meaning and intention of the author. Thus, it is proved that systemic functional grammar is feasible and scientific in the practical application of poetry translation.
