【摘要】： 信息焦點(diǎn)作為語言交流中的語言現(xiàn)象,受到語言學(xué)界的廣泛重視和普遍研究。功能學(xué)派和形式學(xué)派都從不同的角度對(duì)其進(jìn)行探討和研究,取得累累碩果。然而從焦點(diǎn)的語用角度出發(fā),將其與翻譯活動(dòng)結(jié)合,尤其是在英漢互譯過程中的焦點(diǎn)翻譯研究卻相對(duì)較少,因此本文擬嘗試研究漢英翻譯中信息焦點(diǎn)的處理。處理焦點(diǎn)翻譯的前提是識(shí)別焦點(diǎn)�，F(xiàn)有的焦點(diǎn)翻譯研究多將重點(diǎn)放在表達(dá)焦點(diǎn)的特殊句式及相關(guān)的焦點(diǎn)標(biāo)識(shí)上,因而翻譯過程即在譯入語中找到對(duì)應(yīng)句式結(jié)構(gòu)或焦點(diǎn)標(biāo)記,以此保證焦點(diǎn)信息的完整或接近完整的翻譯。然而,在實(shí)際翻譯操作中,借固定句式結(jié)構(gòu)來傳達(dá)信息焦點(diǎn)的并不多。特別在漢語表達(dá)中,因漢語的“形合”特征,導(dǎo)致漢語中的長(zhǎng)句、長(zhǎng)主句等較為普遍,而這些長(zhǎng)句中的信息單位相對(duì)較多,句與句之間的邏輯從屬關(guān)系也相對(duì)隱蔽,既無特定的焦點(diǎn)結(jié)構(gòu)可循,也較少有焦點(diǎn)標(biāo)記詞顯示焦點(diǎn)。此時(shí),焦點(diǎn)的辨別很大程度上將依賴于對(duì)上下文的理解,而焦點(diǎn)信息的表達(dá)也無固定模式可套用。 本文在已有焦點(diǎn)翻譯相關(guān)研究的基礎(chǔ)上,先對(duì)信息焦點(diǎn)的定義與分類進(jìn)行介紹,在對(duì)其概念有較為清晰的把握之后,進(jìn)一步介紹關(guān)于焦點(diǎn)翻譯的焦點(diǎn)標(biāo)記與常規(guī)句型。之后將介紹本文的研究重點(diǎn),即對(duì)無固定焦點(diǎn)表達(dá)結(jié)構(gòu)的漢語如何進(jìn)行漢英焦點(diǎn)翻譯。文中信息焦點(diǎn)研究采用的語料主要來源于楊絳作品《洗澡》及其譯本Baptism,以冀能提供真實(shí)語境下的語言表達(dá),從而亦能證明信息焦點(diǎn)在語言交流中的普遍性以及翻譯實(shí)踐中掌握焦點(diǎn)翻譯的重要性。
[Abstract]:As a linguistic phenomenon in language communication, information focus has received extensive attention and general research in the field of linguistics. Both the functional school and the formal school explored and studied it from different angles and achieved fruitful results. However, from the pragmatic point of view, the focus translation studies are relatively few, especially in the process of English-Chinese translation. Therefore, this thesis intends to try to study the processing of information focus in Chinese-English translation. The premise of focus translation is to identify the focus. Most of the existing focal translation studies focus on the specific sentence patterns and the relevant focal points of the focus, so the translation process finds the corresponding sentence structure or focus marker in the target language. This ensures a complete or near complete translation of the focus information. However, in practical translation operations, there are not many fixed sentence structures to convey the focus of information. Especially in Chinese expression, due to the "hypotaxis" of Chinese, the long sentences and long main sentences in Chinese are relatively common, and the information units in these long sentences are relatively large, and the logical subordinate relationship between sentences is relatively hidden. There is no specific focus structure to follow, and there are few focal markers to show focus. In this case, the discrimination of focus depends largely on the understanding of context, and there is no fixed pattern for the expression of focus information. On the basis of the previous researches on focus translation, this paper first introduces the definition and classification of information focus, and then, after a clear understanding of its concept, further introduces the focus markers and conventional sentence patterns of focus translation. Then it introduces the focus of this thesis, that is, how to translate Chinese into English with no fixed focus. The corpus used in the study of information focus is mainly derived from Yang Jiang's "Bath" and its translation, Baptism. so as to provide language expression in the real context. It can also prove the universality of information focus in language communication and the importance of mastering focus translation in translation practice.
