【摘要】：美國著名翻譯家伯頓·沃森于1965年出版了《宋代詩人蘇東坡詩文選譯》,選譯了蘇軾各個時期代表性詩、詞、賦和書信等作品,呼吁西方漢學(xué)界給予中國宋詞及蘇軾更多關(guān)注,引起了很大的反響,掀起了對蘇軾研究的新高潮。從比較文學(xué)的變異學(xué)角度看沃森譯蘇軾詩詞的創(chuàng)造性叛逆,關(guān)注語言層面的變異,發(fā)現(xiàn)沃森在翻譯句法時,將蘇詩主語的隱創(chuàng)造性地轉(zhuǎn)換成英詩主語的顯;創(chuàng)造性叛逆地把蘇詩中的重疊形容詞等靜態(tài)詞譯成動詞、副詞等動態(tài)詞,重構(gòu)意象,再造意境;將蘇詩對仗、對偶的平行結(jié)構(gòu)變形成英詩的對等句式,達到平衡之美。在翻譯篇章時,把冗長的題目省略,再造題目;添加標點以重構(gòu)原詩意境;跨行連續(xù)以實現(xiàn)詩意的銜接與連續(xù)。翻譯音律時,原詩詞抑揚頓挫、節(jié)奏明快,二度變形中,譯者靈活使用頭韻、尾韻、聲響詞,再造音韻節(jié)奏,促使了作品的新生。文化層面的變異,對于原詩的典故,文化內(nèi)涵詞,創(chuàng)造性地使用加注、修辭手法、句式變換等,將東方文化含蓄、內(nèi)斂的意境經(jīng)過二度重構(gòu)或變異,在西方文化模子里,表達為直接、外顯的美感,再造東方文化神韻,實現(xiàn)了變異后增值的效果,在東西方不同文化審美層面上收到了異曲同工之妙。沃森在語言、文化上的創(chuàng)造性叛逆,一方面與譯者個人的價值觀、審美情趣、文學(xué)修養(yǎng)等密不可分,另一方面還要受到當時美國意識形態(tài)與詩學(xué),贊助商的要求,讀者的接受等的影響。本研究采用變異學(xué)研究創(chuàng)造性叛逆,打破了以往研究譯者創(chuàng)造性叛逆的局限,試圖把研究重點從一般性的對譯者本人的關(guān)注轉(zhuǎn)到了對文本傳播的路徑、方法、效果、原因、意義上,以拓寬創(chuàng)造性叛逆研究的視野,將文本研究和譯者主體研究有效結(jié)合起來。
[Abstract]:In 1965, Berton Watson, a famous American translator, published the selected Poets of Su Dongpo, a poet of the Song Dynasty, which selected and translated Su Shi's poems, ci, poems, letters, and so on. It appeals to the western Sinology circle to pay more attention to Chinese Song ci and Su Shi, which has aroused a great response and set off a new climax in the study of Su Shi. From the perspective of variation of comparative literature, we can see the creative treason of Watson's translation of Su Shi's poems. Focusing on the variation of language level, it is found that Watson creatively converts the subject of Su poetry into the explicit expression of the subject in English poetry when translating syntax. The static words, such as reduplicative adjectives in Su's poems, are translated into dynamic words such as verbs and adverbs, so as to reconstruct images and recreate artistic conception. In order to achieve the beauty of balance, the parallel structure of Su poetry is transformed into the equivalent sentence structure of English poetry. Adding punctuation to reconstruct the artistic conception of the original poem; In order to realize the poetic cohesion and continuity, the original poetry is characterized by its cadence and rhythm. In the second degree deformation, the translator uses the alliteration, the ending rhyme, the sound word and the new rhyme rhythm. It promotes the new generation of works, the variation of cultural level, the allusions of the original poem, cultural connotations, creative use of notes, rhetorical devices, sentence changes and so on, which implies the oriental culture. After the second reconstruction or variation, the artistic conception of the inner convergence is expressed as a direct and explicit aesthetic feeling in the western cultural model, and the charm of the oriental culture is recreated, thus realizing the effect of adding value after the variation. On the one hand, Watson's creative rebellion in language and culture is closely related to the translator's personal values, aesthetic taste and literary accomplishment. On the other hand, it is also influenced by American ideology and poetics, the request of sponsors, the acceptance of readers and so on. It breaks the limitations of the previous researches on creative treason of translators, and attempts to shift the focus of research from the general focus on the translator himself to the path, method, effect, cause and meaning of text communication. In order to broaden the horizons of creative treason research, the text study and the translator subject study can be effectively combined.
