【摘要】：近些年來,中國翻譯界關(guān)于《紅樓夢》的翻譯研究如火如荼�；艨怂肌㈤h福德譯本和楊憲益、戴乃迭譯本是眾多學(xué)者的主要研究對象�？v觀整個《紅樓夢》翻譯研究的歷史,詩詞翻譯、文化內(nèi)容的翻譯、專項詞語的翻譯、修辭格的翻譯、習(xí)語、成語、俗語、諺語的翻譯、《紅樓夢》翻譯史及翻譯研究史是研究的焦點。雖然對詩詞翻譯的研究也不在少數(shù),但是對書中引自其他出處的詩歌翻譯研究卻并不多見,因此本文將研究的對象確定為《紅樓夢》中詩歌引文的翻譯,對霍克思、閔福德譯本與楊憲益夫婦譯本進(jìn)行對比研究。關(guān)聯(lián)理論在語言學(xué)中占有重要地位,在解釋語言現(xiàn)象方面非常有效。它認(rèn)為,交際本質(zhì)上是一種明示—推理的過程。著名學(xué)者Gutt將其運用到翻譯研究領(lǐng)域,其他眾多學(xué)者也紛紛給予關(guān)注,關(guān)聯(lián)理論為翻譯研究提供了一個全新的視角。關(guān)聯(lián)理論翻譯觀認(rèn)為,翻譯是一種動態(tài)的明示—推理活動,一種涉及信息意圖與交際意圖的交際行為。這一交際行為包含兩個明示—推理過程:一是原文作者通過原文向譯者明示(展示信息意圖),譯者則以讀者的身份經(jīng)由認(rèn)知獲得原文的信息與自身的認(rèn)知語境之間的最佳關(guān)聯(lián),從而獲取原文作者的交際意圖。二是譯者以交際者的身份選擇適當(dāng)?shù)姆g策略在譯文中向譯文讀者轉(zhuǎn)達(dá)原文的信息,而譯文讀者則要根據(jù)譯文所提供的信息、認(rèn)知語境等進(jìn)行推理,以最小的推理努力獲得信息與語境間的最佳關(guān)聯(lián),了解原文作者的交際意圖,實現(xiàn)交際目的。本文收集了《紅樓夢》中48例不同出處的詩歌引文以及兩個譯本中對應(yīng)的譯文,將關(guān)聯(lián)理論作為研究的理論基礎(chǔ),以霍克思《紅樓夢》譯本與楊氏夫婦譯本為例,運用關(guān)聯(lián)理論對比、分析兩譯本中詩歌引文的翻譯特點與方法,通過對比兩種譯本中的翻譯方法是否達(dá)到最佳關(guān)聯(lián)、實現(xiàn)交際意圖,結(jié)合語境與交際期待確定適合詩歌引文翻譯的策略和方法。
