【摘要】：《了不起的蓋茨比》堪稱美國文學(xué)的經(jīng)典，自引入國內(nèi)以來許多學(xué)者開始對其進行翻譯及研究。研究者們頗為關(guān)注的兩個重要譯本要屬姚乃強譯本和巫寧坤譯本。運用不同的理論視角，研究者對于這兩個中譯本中的翻譯現(xiàn)象進行了分析和闡述，取得了一些卓有成效的研究成果。這些研究主要是從語言學(xué)視角，哲學(xué)，接受美學(xué)視角，心理學(xué)視角，，敘事學(xué)視角以及文學(xué)文體學(xué)視角來研究兩個譯本中的翻譯現(xiàn)象，包括譯者主體性研究，翻譯策略研究，人物翻譯研究，對等翻譯研究，人物對話翻譯研究，直譯和意譯的操控原則研究，翻譯批評研究，文體轉(zhuǎn)移研究。這些研究涵蓋了多種不同的理論視角，解釋了《了不起的蓋茨比》譯本中多類翻譯現(xiàn)象，在一定程度上為其譯本的進一步研究提供了相關(guān)啟發(fā)。 本文在前人研究的基礎(chǔ)上，運用認知語言學(xué)中識解理論對《了不起的蓋茨比》姚乃強漢譯中的增譯進行研究。識解理論強調(diào)人們在概念、語義結(jié)構(gòu)和語言表達方式形成過程中的主觀因素，主要包括觀察事物的詳略程度、不同的認知背景與語境背景、觀察事物的不同角度、選擇不同的轄域、突顯不同的注意焦點五個方面。本文運用這一理論的五個維度，具體分析了姚譯本中多種不同的增譯內(nèi)容，其主要分為文化內(nèi)容的增譯（成語及典故，修辭內(nèi)涵）和文本構(gòu)建的增譯（語義表達增譯及事件描述增譯），并探討了選取的增譯實例中添加的翻譯內(nèi)容的合理性。識解理論具體分析了譯者添加翻譯內(nèi)容時的認知機制，即譯者采用何種識解方式添加出翻譯內(nèi)容，并對所添加的翻譯內(nèi)容是否合理進行探討。識解理論強調(diào)語義在本質(zhì)上具有主觀意象性。不同的語言結(jié)構(gòu)形式代表著不同的主觀識解方式，蘊含著不同的語義內(nèi)容。這一認知理論的應(yīng)用，為翻譯研究提供了新的研究視角，在一定程度上也為翻譯研究中許多長期存在爭議的問題提供了有益的啟示。認知翻譯學(xué)等交叉學(xué)科也相繼形成與發(fā)展。 本文中識解理論視角下的增譯研究反映出認知理論在翻譯研究中的實際意義。語言、認知與現(xiàn)實三者之間的關(guān)系在這一研究中也得到了很好的詮釋。人類基于現(xiàn)實體驗的認知能力對于語言的形成具有重要的影響作用。
