【摘要】：埃里克·霍金斯向那些沒(méi)有經(jīng)驗(yàn)的舞蹈觀眾提供了第一次觀看舞蹈表演的合理建議。簡(jiǎn)言之,他建議觀眾不要帶著先入之見(jiàn),要相信他們對(duì)于動(dòng)作的感官反應(yīng),并且要完全地投入體驗(yàn)。這看似簡(jiǎn)單,但正如霍金斯所指出的,美國(guó)觀眾存在的兩大問(wèn)題妨礙了他們實(shí)現(xiàn)霍金斯所建議的放松和享受。最大的問(wèn)題是清教傳統(tǒng)(通常是無(wú)意識(shí)地)認(rèn)為人體動(dòng)作是可疑的、不道德的,且往往導(dǎo)致我們懷疑自己對(duì)它的任何感官反應(yīng)。第二個(gè)問(wèn)題是對(duì)分析的偏好——除非他們了解一件藝術(shù)作品的意義,否則他們無(wú)力欣賞該作品。事實(shí)是,伴隨著抽象主義的運(yùn)用,所有的藝術(shù)都在兩個(gè)層面上運(yùn)作。換言之,許多舞蹈中沒(méi)有可理解的東西——沒(méi)有信息,沒(méi)有情節(jié)——僅有設(shè)計(jì)得優(yōu)美、流暢,且力度撼人的動(dòng)作�；蛟S應(yīng)該通過(guò)節(jié)目注釋來(lái)警示觀眾在觀看每個(gè)作品時(shí)應(yīng)該期待什么和尋找什么。
[Abstract]:Eric Hawkins gave inexperienced dance audiences reasonable advice for the first time.In short, he advises viewers not to be preconceived, to believe in their sensory reactions to action, and to engage fully in the experience.The biggest problem is that Puritan traditions (often unconsciously) believe that human action is suspicious, immoral, and often leads us to doubt any sensory reaction to it.The second problem is their preference for analysis-they can't appreciate an art work unless they understand its meaning.The fact is that with the use of abstraction, all art operates on two levels.In other words, there is no comprehensible thing in many dances-no information, no plot-only beautifully designed, smooth, and forcefully moving movements.Perhaps a commentary should be used to alert viewers to what they should expect and look for as they watch each work.
