【摘要】：我們生活的世界與顏色是密不可分的。作為語言中一組特殊的詞匯,顏色詞可用以表述物體的特定顏色,但同時也受文化制約,產(chǎn)生出一些能夠表達(dá)使用者情感、態(tài)度、觀點(diǎn)及思想的深層涵義。從另一方面來看,顏色詞所承載的大量語言信息是基于某種特定社會下的歷史、現(xiàn)實(shí)和文化狀況,反映了宗教、習(xí)俗、地理、心理學(xué)等文化特點(diǎn),涉及了幾乎社會生活的各個方面,在文化交際中占有重要地位。 不同語言國家間的交際必然帶來語言的接觸,它涉及到從一種語言群體到另一個語言群體的文化或技術(shù)內(nèi)容的傳播。在這一傳播過程中,各種語言都有著相同的機(jī)會輸出和借入。不同語言之間在文化接觸過程中出現(xiàn)的顏色詞借用現(xiàn)象和顏色詞文化喻意的借鑒現(xiàn)象也是很常見的。 本文基于Kay和McDaniel (1978)對黑、白、紅、黃、綠和藍(lán)這六種基本顏色詞的研究,從語言接觸角度入手,分三章對漢英兩種語言的顏色詞及其文化涵義進(jìn)行了對比研究。 第一章緒論部分,作者首先總體介紹了國內(nèi)外在漢英顏色詞方面的研究現(xiàn)狀,以及關(guān)于語言接觸的研究成果。由此引入了文化接觸和詞匯借用的概念,并簡要說明語言接觸理論在顏色詞研究方面的運(yùn)用,從而為下一章進(jìn)行顏色詞文化內(nèi)涵的對比分析提供理論依據(jù)。 第二章則根據(jù)Kay和McDaniel (1978)的研究,作者選擇了黑、白、紅、黃、綠和藍(lán)等人們普遍接受的這六種基本顏色,分別從漢語和英語詞匯語義進(jìn)行加工整理,介紹了各自語言文化背景下顏色詞的文化內(nèi)涵,然后用對比分析的方法,歸納出漢英顏色詞之間文化內(nèi)涵上的共性與個性,并從一定程度上體現(xiàn)語言的歷史變遷與發(fā)展規(guī)律。為下一章的研究提供現(xiàn)實(shí)依據(jù)。 第三章則對上一章中總結(jié)出的顏色詞共性與個性進(jìn)行了理論分析,發(fā)現(xiàn)在漢英語相互接觸的活動中,詞語相互采借,與這些顏色詞的內(nèi)涵意義有關(guān)的文化也相互受到影響,并且這種影響是不斷發(fā)展變化的。因此,研究語言接觸對漢英顏色詞文化內(nèi)涵的把握至關(guān)重要,也在跨文化交際領(lǐng)域有著極大的實(shí)用價值。
[Abstract]:The world we live in is inextricably linked to color. As a group of special words in language, color words can be used to express specific colors of objects, but they are also restricted by culture, resulting in some deep meanings that can express the feelings, attitudes, views and thoughts of the users. On the other hand, the large amount of language information carried by color words is based on the historical, realistic and cultural conditions of a particular society, reflecting the cultural characteristics of religion, custom, geography, psychology, and so on. It involves almost every aspect of social life and plays an important role in cultural communication. Communication between different language countries will inevitably bring about language contact, which involves the spread of cultural or technical content from one language group to another. In this process, all languages have the same opportunity to output and borrow. The phenomenon of color word borrowing and cultural metaphor of color words in the process of cultural contact between different languages is also very common. Based on the study of black, white, red, yellow, green and blue by Kay and McDaniel (1978), this paper makes a contrastive study of color words and their cultural meanings between Chinese and English from the perspective of language contact. In the first chapter, the author introduces the current research situation of Chinese-English color words at home and abroad, as well as the research results about language contact. This paper introduces the concepts of cultural contact and lexicon borrowing, and briefly explains the application of linguistic contact theory in the study of color words, thus providing a theoretical basis for the contrastive analysis of the cultural connotation of color words in the next chapter. In the second chapter, according to the research of Kay and McDaniel (1978), the author chooses six basic colors, such as black, white, red, yellow, green and blue, which are generally accepted by Chinese and English vocabulary semantics. This paper introduces the cultural connotation of color words in the context of their respective languages and cultures, and then sums up the commonality and individuality of cultural connotations between Chinese and English color words by means of contrastive analysis, and to a certain extent reflects the historical changes and development laws of language. To provide a realistic basis for the next chapter of the study. The third chapter makes a theoretical analysis of the generality and individuality of color words summarized in the previous chapter. It is found that in the activities of mutual contact between Chinese and English, words are borrowed from each other, and cultures related to the connotation and meaning of these color words are influenced by each other. And this kind of influence is constantly developing and changing. Therefore, the study of language contact is very important to grasp the cultural connotation of Chinese-English color words, and also has great practical value in the field of cross-cultural communication.
