英漢話語標記語對比分析

【摘要】:話語標記語是會話交流中一種十分常見的語言現(xiàn)象。國內(nèi)外學者們從不同角度對其進行了研究。因為研究的角度不同,所以至今對話語標記語仍沒有一個統(tǒng)一的定義。國外學者們在話語標記語研究領(lǐng)域主要分成兩派:以Schiffrin為代表的“連貫派”和以Blackmore為代表的“相關(guān)派”。相對于國外學者們的研究而言,國內(nèi)學者對漢語話語標記語的研究相對薄弱,并且缺乏系統(tǒng)的理論基礎(chǔ)。值得一提的是,何自然和冉永平對漢語話語標記語的研究做出了很大貢獻。 目前,國際語言學界主要語種間的話語標記語的對比研究發(fā)展迅速,但亞洲語言在這一方面相對落后。本文對英漢話語標記語進行了對比研究,分析了它們的相同點和不同之處。同時分析了導致差異的原因。旨在通過這種對比分析,可以避免或減少母語對第二語言習得的影響。在關(guān)聯(lián)理論的框架下,本文采用了定性研究的方法。 通過研究得出結(jié)論:(1)英漢話語標記語的相同點體現(xiàn)在他們在交際中的語用功能上。英漢話語標記語對話語的理解有語用制約作用,語篇功能和人際功能。根據(jù)這三種功能,可以將話語標記語分為不同的種類。但需要注意的是話語標記語具有多功能性。也就是說,同一個話語標記語在不同的語境中具有不同的語用功能。(2)英漢話語標記語的不同之處在于語言的結(jié)構(gòu)、交際的效果、謙虛準則和英漢話語標記語的使用頻率上。(3)造成英漢話語標記語差異的原因有三:不同的思維模式、不同的文化背景和不同的語言特點。(4)找出導致差異的原因無論是對語言學習還是語言教學都有一定的幫助。 本文共分為五部分:第一章為引言,介紹了話語標記語的相關(guān)背景信息、本文的寫作目的和意義;第二章為文獻綜述,主要介紹了國內(nèi)國外在該領(lǐng)域的研究成果;第三章闡述了本文的理論基礎(chǔ)。第四章對英漢話語標記語的異同進行了具體的分析,并且分析了導致英漢話語標記語差異的原因。第五章是結(jié)論部分,概述了文章的研究價值并提出了一些建議關(guān)于話語標記語在英語寫作中的應用,對于英語寫作教學有一定的幫助。同時,也指出了作者研究的局限性,為進一步研究提供了可能。
[Abstract]:Discourse markers are a very common linguistic phenomenon in conversational communication. Scholars at home and abroad have studied it from different angles. So far there is no uniform definition of discourse markers because of their different perspectives. Foreign scholars in the field of discourse markers are mainly divided into two groups: "coherence" represented by Schiffrin and "relevant" represented by Blackmore. Compared with the researches of foreign scholars, the researches on Chinese discourse markers by domestic scholars are relatively weak and lack of systematic theoretical basis. It is worth mentioning that he nature and ran Yongping have made great contributions to the study of Chinese discourse markers. At present, the contrastive study of discourse markers in the major languages of international linguistics has developed rapidly, but Asian languages are relatively backward in this respect. This paper makes a contrastive study of English and Chinese discourse markers and analyzes their similarities and differences. At the same time, the causes of the difference are analyzed. The purpose of this paper is to avoid or reduce the influence of mother tongue on second language acquisition. In the framework of relevance theory, this paper adopts qualitative research method. The conclusions are as follows: (1) the similarities between English and Chinese discourse markers are embodied in their pragmatic functions in communication. English and Chinese discourse markers play a pragmatic role in the understanding of discourse, text function and interpersonal function. According to these three functions, discourse markers can be divided into different types. However, it is important to note that discourse markers are multifunctional. That is to say, the same discourse marker has different pragmatic functions in different contexts. (2) the differences between English and Chinese discourse markers lie in the structure of language and the effect of communication. (3) there are three reasons for the differences between English and Chinese discourse markers: different thinking patterns; Different cultural backgrounds and different language characteristics. (4) finding out the causes of the differences is helpful to both language learning and language teaching. This paper is divided into five parts: the first chapter is the introduction, which introduces the background information of discourse markers, the purpose and significance of this paper, the second chapter is a literature review, mainly introduces the domestic and foreign research results in this field; The third chapter describes the theoretical basis of this paper. Chapter four makes a detailed analysis of the similarities and differences between English and Chinese discourse markers, and analyzes the reasons leading to the differences between English and Chinese discourse markers. Chapter five is the conclusion, which summarizes the research value of the thesis and puts forward some suggestions on the application of discourse markers in English writing, which is helpful to the teaching of English writing. At the same time, it also points out the limitations of the author's research, which provides the possibility for further research.
