交替?zhèn)髯g中的筆記問題及應對策略

【摘要】:筆記在交替?zhèn)髯g中占據(jù)著不可或缺的地位。它能減輕口譯員的記憶壓力,并為口譯員提供一個清晰的內(nèi)容框架。然而,對筆記的認識需放到一個正確的環(huán)境下。筆記只是交替?zhèn)髯g中的一項工具,起輔助作用。筆記不能代替口譯本身,亦不構成口譯成功與否的標準。因此,在學習筆記相關規(guī)則前,口譯班學生需要先熟悉交替?zhèn)髯g的三個原則,即理解、分析和表述。這三個原則基本包含了口譯的所有要求,只有滿足這三方面的要求,才有可能在筆記的幫助下成功進行交替?zhèn)髯g。 在學習了交替?zhèn)髯g的三個重要階段后,第二章詳細介紹了筆記知識,包括為什么記筆記、記什么、怎么記、筆記的記錄語言等等。這些技巧并不是固定不變的規(guī)則,但多出自有多年經(jīng)驗的職業(yè)譯員,對處于初級階段的口譯班學生來說具有很強的實踐性和參考性。這兩章的主體內(nèi)容和框架主要借鑒了羅德里克·瓊斯的《會議口譯解析》一書,此書詳細介紹了會議口譯方面相關知識,對于口譯初學人員有很大指導意義。 在詳細介紹和討論了交替?zhèn)髯g和筆記知識后,作者對吉林大學外國語學院2011級口譯班學生的交傳筆記進行了實驗研究。實驗目的是看他們是否熟悉上述通用性規(guī)則,能否將這些規(guī)則很好地應用到口譯練習中。具體來說,實驗主要考察他們筆記的內(nèi)容,結構以及符號、縮寫的應用情況。和以往實驗不同,作者沒有選擇低難度的口譯材料。相反,作者選擇了一篇包含大量名稱、日期和數(shù)字的文章片段作為實驗材料。因為這些內(nèi)容很難單憑記憶去記住,更需要筆記的幫助。這樣實驗的目的將更容易得到證明。 作者采用定量與定性的方法對實驗結果進行了認真分析,發(fā)現(xiàn)了口譯班學生交傳筆記中的現(xiàn)存問題。這些問題一方面獨立存在,另一方面又相互關聯(lián)。因此作者并未像傳統(tǒng)實驗那樣針對每個問題逐一提出解決方案,而是嘗試從宏觀和微觀的角度整體提出一些可行性方案來改善筆記問題。 綜合來說,本文是一篇實踐類論文,很少涉及翻譯理論。論文中包含豐富的例證、筆記說明和實驗說明,對于口譯班的學習有很強的重要性和現(xiàn)實性。同時,通過實驗來發(fā)現(xiàn)問題,解決問題。
[Abstract]:Notes play an indispensable role in consecutive interpretation. They reduce the pressure on interpreters' memory and provide interpreters with a clear framework of content. However, The understanding of notes needs to be placed in the right context. Notes are only a tool in consecutive interpretation and play an auxiliary role. Notes cannot replace interpretation itself and do not constitute a criterion for the success of interpretation. Before learning the relevant rules of note-taking, students in the interpretation class need to be familiar with the three principles of consecutive interpretation, that is, understanding, analysis and expression. These three principles basically contain all the requirements of interpretation, and only meet the requirements of these three aspects. Only with the help of notes can consecutive interpretation be successful. After learning the three important stages of consecutive interpretation, Chapter two gives a detailed introduction to note-taking, including why to take notes, what to take, how to take notes, the language of recording notes, and so on. But most of them come from professional interpreters with many years of experience, The main content and framework of these two chapters are drawn from Roderick Jones's interpretation interpretation. This book introduces the related knowledge of conference interpretation in detail, which is of great significance to the beginners of interpretation. After introducing and discussing the knowledge of consecutive interpretation and note-taking in detail, the author makes an experimental study on the hand-in notes of the students in the class 2011 of Foreign languages College of Jilin University. The purpose of the experiment is to see if they are familiar with the general rules mentioned above. Whether these rules can be well applied to interpretation exercises. Specifically, the experiment mainly examines the contents, structure and symbols of their notes, and the application of abbreviations. Instead of choosing less difficult interpretation materials, the author chose a large number of titles, dates, and numbers as experimental material, because they were hard to remember by memory alone. Note-taking is needed more. The purpose of the experiment will be easier to prove. The author makes a careful analysis of the results of the experiment by using quantitative and qualitative methods, and finds out the existing problems in the handing in of notes by students in the interpreting class, which on the one hand are independent of each other. Therefore the author does not propose solutions to each problem one by one as in traditional experiments, but attempts to improve the problem of notes by putting forward some feasible solutions from the macro and micro perspectives as a whole. On the whole, this paper is a practical paper, rarely involving translation theory. It contains abundant examples, notes and experimental explanations, which are very important and practical for the study of interpreting classes. Discover and solve problems through experiments.
