You are required to provide an outline business plan to a funder in support of your application for funding for your new business. This should relate to a new business where the maximum funding to be looked for is ￡500,000. This can either be to create a new manufacturing or service business. You will of course require the business plan and the funding proposal to be consistent with the type of business you are proposing to start. This business plan does not need to include detailed financial projections. However, within the plan you should provide the following information: –
An executive summary of the key points.
A short description of the business opportunity.
The marketing and sales strategy to be adopted by the business.
Details of the management team and key personnel within the business.
A summary of the business operations.
