【摘要】： 功能語言學認為語言的語義系統(tǒng)包含了三個方面：概念意義、人際意義和語篇意義。概念意義和語篇意義已經(jīng)得到了較充分的研究，而人際意義的研究相對來說較少，關于科學語篇人際意義的研究就更少。因此，本研究以系統(tǒng)功能語言學的人際功能理論為基礎，結合巴赫金的對話理論，根據(jù)語料庫語言學提供的方法，建立了一個由40篇英語醫(yī)學期刊科研論文組成的共22.5萬詞的語料庫，以這些真實的語料為研究對象，將語篇看作動態(tài)的過程而非成品，，實證性地考察其中的人際意義及其體現(xiàn)。 研究發(fā)現(xiàn)傳統(tǒng)上被認為科學、客觀、準確，以傳遞最新科研成果和科學信息為主的科研論文，語篇中其實充滿作者與讀者之間的社會互動，而且語言系統(tǒng)為實現(xiàn)這種互動提供了豐富的語言資源，如英語的情態(tài)系統(tǒng)與人稱代詞等�？蒲姓撐牡倪@些特點是由科學寫作的社會性決定的。 本研究的意義在于：理論上，以實證的方法檢驗了系統(tǒng)功能語言學作為語篇分析理論的解釋力，且嘗試將對話理論與系統(tǒng)功能語言學相結合來探討醫(yī)學期刊科研論文中的人際意義，拓寬了語言研究的思路；實踐中，本研究成果將對我們的專門用途英語教學，尤其是醫(yī)學英語的教學，提供新的視角，即科研論文的寫作不僅是報道科研成果、傳達科學信息，而且要重視功能語言學“選擇即意義”這一理念，在語篇中建立良性的人際關系，有讀者意識，以滿足交際雙方的面子需求并得到專家和同行的認可和接受。因此，本研究對專門用途英語的教學具有指導意義。
