【摘要】:隨著全球化的進(jìn)一步發(fā)展,各國間的聯(lián)系愈發(fā)密切,各國經(jīng)濟(jì)交往頻繁,越來越多的國外企業(yè)家來到中國參與各種投資、融資等貿(mào)易活動。維多利亞州企業(yè)家江蘇駐點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目正是這樣的商業(yè)貿(mào)易項(xiàng)目。本項(xiàng)目分為前期準(zhǔn)備、項(xiàng)目進(jìn)程、項(xiàng)目反饋三階段,參與人員包括12位企業(yè)家和2位議員。江蘇省工商聯(lián)合會作為項(xiàng)目促進(jìn)者,共分派14名翻譯人員,分別負(fù)責(zé)企業(yè)家翻譯活動。筆者主要負(fù)責(zé)其中一位議員的日程活動與翻譯,幫助雙方進(jìn)行交流和談判,達(dá)成協(xié)議。然而,在翻譯過程中筆者也遇到了許多問題,如談判涉及領(lǐng)域廣而感到言外知識欠缺;跨文化意識不夠而導(dǎo)致翻譯理解傳達(dá)出現(xiàn)偏差;短時(shí)記憶不準(zhǔn)確而導(dǎo)致翻譯出現(xiàn)錯誤等。因此,筆者以維多利亞州企業(yè)家江蘇駐點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目為依托,從言外知識、跨文化意識和短期記憶三個方面,探討譯員素質(zhì)在商務(wù)口譯中的意義和作用,呼吁陪同口譯員高度重視譯員自身素質(zhì),切實(shí)提高口譯水平和服務(wù)質(zhì)量,實(shí)現(xiàn)全方面均衡發(fā)展。
