自從中國2001年加入世界貿(mào)易組織之后,中國的經(jīng)濟(jì)地位和政治地位得到了顯著的提高,同時(shí)也讓中國與世界實(shí)現(xiàn)了共贏。2018年6月28日,在西方國家指責(zé)中國進(jìn)行“經(jīng)濟(jì)侵略”的背景下,中國發(fā)布了《中國與世界貿(mào)易組織》白皮書,意在用事實(shí)與數(shù)據(jù)為自己正名。白皮書作為官方的政治文本,其英譯策略對于展現(xiàn)我國國際形象,宣傳我國的方針政策具有重要作用,因此值得深入探討與研究。本文以克里斯蒂安·諾德的功能主義理論為理論基礎(chǔ),分析《中國與世界貿(mào)易組織》的英譯策略。在詞匯層面,本文分析了白皮書中的中國特色詞匯、高頻搭配詞及四字成語的翻譯策略,發(fā)現(xiàn)譯者在詞匯層面多采用直譯、意譯、省譯與轉(zhuǎn)譯的方法。在句法方面,本文分析了無主句及長難句中應(yīng)用的翻譯策略。在翻譯無主句時(shí),譯者多采用非謂語動(dòng)詞作主語、增添主語和使用被動(dòng)語態(tài)等方法;在翻譯長難句時(shí),譯者多采用分譯、增譯、轉(zhuǎn)換法和順譯法。此外,本文還分析了原文中出現(xiàn)的隱喻、明喻、反復(fù)、排比等修辭手段在譯本中的翻譯策略,發(fā)現(xiàn)根據(jù)不同的修辭方法,譯者采取了直譯、意譯以及省譯的方法。譯者運(yùn)用多種翻譯策略,力求譯文簡潔準(zhǔn)確,確保譯本的可讀性和準(zhǔn)確性,這些翻譯策略對于今后白皮書的英譯...
