近年來隨著人們對環(huán)保問題重視程度的提升,世界各國間進行環(huán)保措施的學習與交流變得越來越必要。本研究翻譯材料選自英國政府發(fā)布的《保護我們的水資源、土壤及空氣——農民、種植者及土地管理者的良好農業(yè)規(guī)范守則》,首版發(fā)布于2009年并在持續(xù)更新中。該守則旨在幫助保護環(huán)境,減少農業(yè)活動對環(huán)境的污染。節(jié)選的前三章主要綜合介紹農業(yè)污染信息,并對農民保持土壤肥沃、保護植物養(yǎng)分提出建議并制定管理計劃。本文基于德國翻譯學家賴斯的文本類型理論對原文翻譯進行研究,并針對文本特征運用相應的翻譯策略與方法。根據(jù)文本類型理論,該文本屬于信息型文本,并具有以下文本特征:使用代詞和形容詞性物主代詞、情態(tài)動詞、含有農業(yè)領域專業(yè)詞匯、多使用被動語態(tài)、祈使句使用頻率較高、多復合句。針對以上特征,作者對譯文進行分析,并運用刪減、人稱轉換、被動變主動、直譯和釋譯、句子重構等翻譯方法與策略。原文的主要對象是英國農民等農業(yè)領域工作人員,旨在幫助保護環(huán)境,減少農業(yè)活動對環(huán)境的污染,對國內的農業(yè)領域人士有學習借鑒意義,以改善中國的農業(yè)環(huán)境污染情況。因此對該文本翻譯的研究具有一定現(xiàn)實意義,并可為未來的翻譯提供參考。
