英文名著閱讀對初中生跨文化知識的影響的行動研究
[Abstract]:The English Curriculum Standard for compulsory Education (2011 Edition) has clear requirements for junior high school students' cross-cultural awareness, and there are 12 cultural goals in the five levels of goals required of junior high school students. English classics are rich in content, fascinating in plot, fluent and vivid in language, and enlightening people. In the process of reading, students pay attention to the plot of the story, taste the classical language, integrate the atmosphere created by the works, and form a subtle communication and cultural fusion with the author. This action study, conducted within the framework of schema theory and input hypothesis theory, aims to see whether reading classics promotes intercultural awareness among junior high school students. And what specific ways to read classics for junior high school students to improve cross-cultural knowledge more effective. The subjects of the study were 73 students from the second grade of the second grade, who were taught by the author. They had two rounds, each of which lasted for 8 weeks, and read three masterpieces in each round; according to the students' original English proficiency, The six masterpieces are a series of "3000 words read all over the world" by American writers. Through questionnaires, interviews and students' reading rethinking reports, etc. This paper probes into the feasibility, concrete ways and effect of promoting the cultivation of cultural knowledge of junior high school students through the reading of famous books. The purpose of this paper is to improve the current situation of junior high school students' cultural knowledge deficiency and low cultural awareness, to overcome the limitations of the current textbooks on the infiltration of cultural knowledge, to stimulate students' interest in learning foreign culture, and to broaden their horizons. Further promote English skills and cross-cultural communicative competence. Through reading and appreciating the famous works, the students' perception of cross-cultural differences has been improved, and the knowledge of target language culture has been strengthened. Teachers' choice of reading masterpieces and their interference in the reading process affect the students' reading effect and cultural knowledge accumulation, and the students' choice of reading content has a positive effect on the enthusiasm and effect of reading.
