《性別社會(huì)》第十二章翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告

【摘要】:邁克爾?基梅爾所著的《性別社會(huì)》是美國(guó)及加拿大等國(guó)本科生性別教育教材。該教材為大學(xué)生性別通識(shí)教育提供理論基礎(chǔ)和實(shí)例支持,在提高大學(xué)生性別平等意識(shí)方面起著積極的促進(jìn)作用。為大學(xué)生繼續(xù)進(jìn)行性別方面的研究提供基礎(chǔ)理論和研究方法。該書(shū)有特定的研究對(duì)象和鮮明的語(yǔ)言特色,為翻譯實(shí)踐提供了研究范例,是適合的研究對(duì)象。翻譯這樣優(yōu)秀的教科書(shū),不僅易于被國(guó)內(nèi)讀者所接受,學(xué)習(xí)和了解國(guó)外相關(guān)的性別認(rèn)識(shí),也可為國(guó)內(nèi)性別研究者和大學(xué)生性別教育的推廣和教材的編著提供借鑒和參考。指導(dǎo)此次翻譯實(shí)踐的是德國(guó)功能學(xué)派的功能目的論。功能目的論由翻譯理論家弗米爾和萊斯提出。該理論目開(kāi)拓了翻譯研究的新視角。目的論者認(rèn)為,翻譯是一種有目的、跨文化的交際行為。翻譯目的決定翻譯策略,為適應(yīng)新的交際環(huán)境和目的語(yǔ)讀者,有效實(shí)現(xiàn)目的語(yǔ)功能的目的決定翻譯方法的采用。目的論的三大原則一一目的原則、連貫原則和忠實(shí)原則。三者關(guān)系為,忠實(shí)原則從屬于連貫原則,而二者都從屬于目的原則。本文在功能目的論的三原則的指導(dǎo)下,對(duì)《性別社會(huì)》的第十二章進(jìn)行了翻譯并對(duì)實(shí)踐翻譯過(guò)程進(jìn)行了分析,主要是在文本研讀的基礎(chǔ)上,采用了直譯和意譯相結(jié)合的方法,利用多種翻譯技巧解決翻譯實(shí)踐中的難題。本實(shí)踐報(bào)告分為兩部分:翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告和附錄。翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告正文有六部分組成。第一部分介紹了翻譯任務(wù)及翻譯任務(wù)的意義;第二部分介紹了所翻譯的文本及文本的重難點(diǎn);第三部分描述了翻譯過(guò)程;第四和第五部分是實(shí)踐報(bào)告的核心部分。包括了指導(dǎo)翻譯實(shí)踐的理論介紹和實(shí)例分析;第六部分對(duì)整個(gè)翻譯實(shí)踐過(guò)程的得與失進(jìn)行了總結(jié)。性別教育能夠促進(jìn)人們對(duì)性別的認(rèn)識(shí),推進(jìn)性別平等。鑒于國(guó)內(nèi)性別教育的不足,希望通過(guò)相關(guān)教材翻譯和翻譯策略分析,讓更多的人關(guān)注性別教育和性別教育類教材,不斷促進(jìn)我國(guó)性別教育和性別平等。
[Abstract]:Michael Keimer's gender Society is a teaching material for undergraduate students in the United States and Canada. The textbook provides theoretical basis and practical support for college students' gender general education, and plays an active role in promoting college students' awareness of gender equality. To provide basic theory and research methods for college students to continue their research on gender. The book has a specific object of study and distinctive language characteristics, which provides a research example for translation practice and is a suitable research object. The translation of such excellent textbooks is not only easy to be accepted by domestic readers, but also can be used as a reference for the promotion of gender education and the compilation of textbooks for domestic gender researchers and college students. The translation practice is guided by the functional Skopos of the German functional School. The functional Skopos theory is put forward by Vermeer and Rice, the translation theorists. This theory has opened up a new perspective in translation studies. Skopos argue that translation is a purposeful, cross-cultural communicative act. Translation purpose determines translation strategies, and the purpose of realizing the target language function effectively determines the use of translation methods in order to adapt to the new communicative environment and target language readers. The three principles of Skopos are Skopos principle, coherence principle and faithfulness principle. The relationship among them is that the principle of loyalty is subordinate to the principle of coherence, and both of them are subordinate to the principle of purpose. Under the guidance of the three principles of functional Skopos, chapter 12 of gender Society is translated and the process of practical translation is analyzed. Based on the study of the text, the author adopts the method of combining literal translation with free translation. Using various translation techniques to solve the problems in translation practice. This practice report is divided into two parts: translation practice report and appendix. The text of the translation practice report consists of six parts. The first part introduces the translation task and the significance of the translation task; the second part introduces the translated text and the important difficulties of the translated text; the third part describes the translation process; the fourth and fifth parts are the core parts of the practice report. The sixth part summarizes the gains and losses of the whole process of translation practice. Gender education can promote gender awareness and promote gender equality. In view of the shortage of gender education in China, it is hoped that through the translation and translation strategy analysis of relevant textbooks, more people will pay attention to gender education and gender education teaching materials, so as to promote gender education and gender equality in China.
