【摘要】：中國學界對格萊斯會話隱涵理論的了解始于1975年格萊斯的"邏輯與會話"正式發(fā)表之后。相關(guān)研究大都專注于這篇文章及后來的新格萊斯主義語用學,對格萊斯前期的相關(guān)學術(shù)思想未見介紹,一般學者對這一理論的來龍去脈不是很清楚。本文介紹會話隱涵理論產(chǎn)生的哲學背景,追溯其發(fā)展脈絡(luò),發(fā)現(xiàn)這一理論的基本要素或雛形在格萊斯1967年之前的著述中就已經(jīng)顯露端倪。哈佛大學威廉·詹姆斯講壇的主辦方邀請當時僅發(fā)表了5篇論文的格萊斯登上這一講壇,是因為他們看到了格萊斯的理論對哲學和語言學發(fā)展的重要意義。
[Abstract]:The understanding of Grice's theory of conversational implicature began in 1975 after Grice's Logic and conversation was published. Most of the relevant studies focus on this article and the subsequent neo-Glysm pragmatics, but the previous academic thoughts of Grice have not been introduced, and the general scholars are not very clear about the origin of this theory. This paper introduces the philosophical background of the theory of conversational implicature, traces its development, and finds that the basic elements or rudiments of the theory have already appeared in Grice's works before 1967. The organizers of Harvard University's William James Forum invited Grice, who had published only five papers at that time, to sit on it because they saw the significance of Grice's theory to philosophical and linguistic developments.
