【摘要】：隨著全球化及我國改革更開放程度的不斷加深及產(chǎn)業(yè)結(jié)構(gòu)的不斷優(yōu)化,科技用途英語翻譯已成為實用翻譯領(lǐng)域的一個新興分支,其重要性與必要性不斷加強(qiáng)。目前人們已經(jīng)深刻認(rèn)識到維持可持續(xù)的經(jīng)濟(jì)及社會發(fā)展的必要性,由此清潔能源無疑將逐漸替代傳統(tǒng)化石燃料,并越來越廣泛地使用于家庭、商業(yè)及工業(yè)領(lǐng)域,進(jìn)而需要引入越來越多有關(guān)丙烷等的清潔燃料的相關(guān)科技文獻(xiàn)及資料以促進(jìn)該領(lǐng)域的發(fā)展。本翻譯報告對象為《丙烷的貯存與處理規(guī)范》的英譯中翻譯項目,該規(guī)范被列為加拿大國家規(guī)范,用于規(guī)范及指導(dǎo)在不同地點及情況下進(jìn)行丙烷的運輸、貯存、使用及相關(guān)設(shè)備的操作。筆者依據(jù)國際及國內(nèi)實用翻譯標(biāo)準(zhǔn)與策略,來分析并翻譯該文本。具體來說,本文從詞法及句法兩個層面分析其文體特征及翻譯此類科技標(biāo)準(zhǔn)及指導(dǎo)規(guī)范文本時所采取的翻譯策略與方法。本文認(rèn)為:詞法方面需側(cè)重分析專用詞匯及情態(tài)動詞的意義的選取與翻譯;句法層面重點分析如何通過改變句式結(jié)構(gòu)和增譯、省譯、轉(zhuǎn)譯等方式來翻譯長難句,以使得譯文準(zhǔn)確、忠實、通達(dá),同時保持客觀、邏輯清晰,并且能夠突出涉及危險氣體的規(guī)范性文本的特點,即凸顯安全性,強(qiáng)調(diào)操作的前提及條件要求。
[Abstract]:With the deepening of globalization and the deepening of China's reform and the continuous optimization of the industrial structure, English translation of scientific and technological use has become a new branch of the field of practical translation. Its importance and necessity has been strengthened. At present, people have deeply realized the necessity of maintaining sustainable economic and social development, and thus clean it. There is no doubt that energy will gradually replace traditional fossil fuels and are increasingly used in the family, commercial and industrial fields, and in turn need to introduce more and more relevant scientific and technological literature and information about clean fuels such as propane to promote the development of this field. The specification is listed as the Canadian national standard to regulate and guide the transport, storage, use and operation of propane in different locations and conditions. The author analyzes and translates the text according to the international and domestic practical translation standards and strategies. In particular, this article analyses the text from two aspects of morphology and syntax. In this paper, we should focus on the analysis of the selection and translation of the meaning of the special vocabulary and the modal verbs, and the emphasis on the analysis of how to translate the sentence by changing the sentence structure and the translation, the provincial translation, the translation and so on in the syntactic level. It makes the translation accurate, faithful and accessible, at the same time keeping objective, logical, and able to highlight the characteristics of normative text involving dangerous gases, that is, to highlight security, and to emphasize the premise and requirements of operation.
