《延請良師:拉比猶太教里的師生故事》(第二章)翻譯實踐報告

【摘要】:本文是一篇翻譯實踐報告。報告的原文選自《延請良師:拉比猶太教里的師生故事》的第二章:“不是在天上”以利以謝拉比被隔離。該書由以色列巴伊蘭大學英語文學與語言學教授蘇珊·韓德爾曼(Susan Handleman)著。該書主要對猶太歷史上著名的以利以謝拉比一生所經歷的大事件進行了評論。本報告所翻譯部分涉及了政治、民族、教學、家庭,主要剖析了教師、同僚、學生之間的關系,該書作者對故事中每一層面的評論,都給讀者帶來許多的感觸,且增加了讀者對猶太歷史、文化、教育的了解。本翻譯實踐報告共分為五個章節(jié):第一章為對本翻譯項目報告的介紹,包括項目背景、意義和目的;第二章主要介紹猶太教的一些基本知識和本書及猶太教書籍在國內的情況;第三章主要介紹了指導本報告的翻譯理論,皮特·紐馬克的交際翻譯理論和其在本報告中的應用;第四章為本報告的重點,主要涉及具體翻譯過程中遇到的難點和具體的翻譯方法;第五章是對本報告的經驗和未解決的問題的一個總結,本報告希望能總結一些信息型文本的翻譯方法及經驗,為未來該類文本的翻譯實踐和研究提供參考。
[Abstract]:This paper is a translation practice report. The original text of the report is from the second chapter, "not in heaven," in the teacher and Student Story of Rabbi Judaism. The book is written by Susan Handleman, professor of English literature and linguistics at the University of Bayland, Israel. The book reviews the great events of the life of Eliesirabi, who is famous in Jewish history. The translation section of this report deals with politics, nationality, teaching, family, and mainly analyzes the relationship between teachers, colleagues and students. The author's comments on every level of the story bring a lot of feelings to the reader. It also increases readers' understanding of Jewish history, culture, and education. This translation practice report is divided into five chapters: the first chapter is the introduction of this translation project report, including the background, significance and purpose of the project, the second chapter mainly introduces some basic knowledge of Judaism and the domestic situation of this book and Jewish books; The third chapter mainly introduces the translation theory guiding this report, Peter Newmark's communicative translation theory and its application in this report. Chapter five is a summary of the experience and unsolved problems of this report. The present report hopes to summarize the translation methods and experiences of some informative texts. It provides a reference for the translation practice and research of this kind of texts in the future.
