【摘要】：不同語言文化背景的學者在學術論文寫作中表達立場的強度和方式有所不同,但學術語篇(自)譯者常常對這種細微差異重視不夠,譯文顯得生硬不地道,一定程度上影響了國際話語社團對這類論文的關注度。本研究自建中外地學期刊論文小型語料庫,比較了中文期刊漢語論文的英譯版、國際期刊中國作者所撰論文和國際期刊英語國家作者所撰論文引言在立場表達強度和方式上的異同。研究發(fā)現(xiàn),與國際期刊中國作者以及英語國家作者所撰論文引言相比,中文期刊英譯版論文引言表達立場有時過于肯定,有時又偏于保守。本文在比較結果基礎上對中文期刊論文英譯策略提出了建議。
[Abstract]:Scholars from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds have different intensity and ways of expressing their positions in the writing of academic papers. However, the translators of academic texts often pay less attention to the subtle differences, and the translation appears stiff and inauthentic. To some extent, it affects the international discourse community to pay attention to this kind of paper. In this study, a small corpus of Chinese and foreign geoscientific journal papers was built to compare the English versions of Chinese journals with Chinese ones. The similarities and differences in the intensity and manner of position expression between the papers written by Chinese authors of international journals and those written by authors of English-speaking countries of international journals. It is found that compared with the foreword written by the Chinese and English-speaking authors of international journals, the preface of the English translation of Chinese periodicals is sometimes too positive and sometimes conservative. On the basis of the comparative results, this paper puts forward some suggestions on the translation strategies of Chinese periodical papers.
