【摘要】:本翻譯報(bào)告基于譯者對(duì)《商務(wù)禮儀指南》第14章“餐桌禮儀”和第15章“解密餐桌布置”的英漢翻譯實(shí)踐任務(wù),原文字?jǐn)?shù)共1.2萬余字!渡虅(wù)禮儀指南》一書通過生動(dòng)的舉例,向讀者展示了極為豐富的商務(wù)禮儀,特別是其中的餐桌禮儀,用簡(jiǎn)潔清楚的語言闡述了西方飲食文化和餐桌禮儀,讓讀者受益匪淺。譯者翻譯的原文內(nèi)容主要包括西方商務(wù)餐飲文化和餐桌禮儀,涉及常用商務(wù)就餐禮儀、餐桌布置禮儀,就餐到達(dá)時(shí)間、座位安排、上菜順序、酒品類別、餐具擺放等等。同時(shí)還涉及英、法、德、意等國細(xì)微的餐飲文化差異,其內(nèi)容全面充實(shí)、細(xì)致入微。在翻譯過程中,本文采用了不同的翻譯策略和翻譯技巧,基本準(zhǔn)則是根據(jù)文本特點(diǎn)和翻譯目的,采取恰當(dāng)而有效的策略和技巧。好的翻譯是形式與內(nèi)容的統(tǒng)一體。譯文不僅要忠實(shí)于原文,同時(shí)還要符合中國人的習(xí)俗和中國人能夠接受的表達(dá)方法。在對(duì)該書進(jìn)行翻譯的過程中,譯者主要采用了歸化和異化的翻譯策略,其中以歸化的翻譯策略為主。在處理一些目的語中缺失的專有名詞時(shí),如酒類和食品類,為使目的語讀者能夠更充分欣賞和領(lǐng)略異域風(fēng)味,促進(jìn)不同民族之間的文化交流,因此多采用了異化的翻譯策略。而為使譯文流暢地道,通俗易懂,容易被目的語接受者所接收,因此在翻譯的過程中,更多采用了歸化的翻譯策略,盡量向譯文接受者靠攏。具體采用的翻譯技巧包括增詞法、減詞法、轉(zhuǎn)換法、倒置法等,通過靈活使用這些翻譯技巧,幫助讀者更準(zhǔn)確的理解原文作者所要表達(dá)的意思。在對(duì)外交流的過程中,語言的精通結(jié)合對(duì)文化禮儀的了解,能夠達(dá)到讓交流雙方更為滿意的效果。本次翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告可供英語專業(yè)學(xué)生、從事外貿(mào)及外事活動(dòng)的人員,在商務(wù)活動(dòng)中所涉及到的商務(wù)禮儀提供了一定的參考與借鑒?蛻舻姆答佇畔⒈砻,在翻譯的過程中,由于對(duì)源語文本理解的偏差造成翻譯不準(zhǔn)確;同時(shí),譯文中存在一些不合乎漢語習(xí)慣的表達(dá)。鑒于客戶的反饋信息,譯者在加強(qiáng)對(duì)英語理解的同時(shí),需加強(qiáng)漢語的準(zhǔn)確把握。在今后的翻譯準(zhǔn)備過程中,要加強(qiáng)對(duì)文化差異的理解,使得翻譯的過程更加順暢。
[Abstract]:This translation report is based on the translator's English-Chinese translation practice of Chapter 14, "Table manners," and Chapter 15, "deciphering Table layout," in which the original text is written in more than 12000 words. It shows the readers a great deal of business etiquette, especially the table manners, and expounds the western food culture and table manners in concise and clear language, which benefit the readers a lot. The original translation mainly includes western business dining culture and table manners, including common business dining etiquette, table layout etiquette, dining arrival time, seating arrangement, serving order, wine category, tableware setting, etc. Also involved in Britain, France, Germany, Italy and other countries, small differences in food culture, its content is full, meticulous. In the process of translation, different translation strategies and techniques are adopted, and the basic criterion is to adopt appropriate and effective strategies and techniques according to the characteristics of the text and the purpose of translation. Good translation is the unity of form and content. The translation should not only be faithful to the original text, but also conform to Chinese customs and acceptable expressions. In the process of translating the book, the translator mainly adopts the translation strategies of domestication and foreignization, among which domestication is the main strategy. In dealing with the missing proper nouns in the target language, such as wine and food, in order to enable the target language readers to appreciate and appreciate the exotic flavor more fully and to promote the cultural exchange among different nationalities, alienation translation strategies are often adopted. In order to make the target text smooth, easy to understand and easy to be accepted by the target language recipient, more domestication strategies are adopted in the process of translation, so as to be closer to the target language recipient as much as possible. The specific translation techniques include lexical addition, subtraction, conversion, inversion and so on. Through flexible use of these translation techniques, readers can understand the meaning of the original author more accurately. In the process of communication, the combination of language proficiency and cultural etiquette can make the communication more satisfactory. This translation practice report can be used as a reference for English majors, foreign trade and foreign affairs personnel, and the business etiquette involved in business activities. The feedback from clients shows that the translation is inaccurate due to the deviation of the interpretation of the source text. At the same time, there are some expressions which are not in accordance with the Chinese custom in the translation. In view of the feedback from the client, the translator should strengthen his understanding of the English language as well as the accuracy of the Chinese language. In the process of translation preparation in the future, we should strengthen the understanding of cultural differences and make the process of translation more smooth.
