【摘要】：本文是一篇英譯中的社會科學文本的翻譯項目報告,翻譯項目的原文選自英國杜倫大學麗娜·多米內(nèi)利教授撰寫的《災害干預和人道主義援助指導》。該書立足于當今時代中的災難現(xiàn)象,立足于國際實際,為政策制定者、實際工作者、研究人員和教育工作者提供了相關原則和指導意見。該書在人道主義援助和災害干預方面具有重要的的現(xiàn)實意義和社會價值。本文以目的論為指導,對社會科學文本進行翻譯研究。筆者從詞匯、句子、語篇三個層面對原文-譯文進行分析,探討如何在詞匯層面、句子層面和語篇層面,最大程度地傳達原文所要傳達的信息,并達到原文所要表達的效果。目的論作為功能派翻譯理論中最核心的理論,包括三個原則一目的原則、忠實原則和連貫原則。本文在忠實原則的指導下進行詞匯翻譯、在忠實原則與連貫原則的指導下進行句子翻譯、在連貫原則的指導下進行語篇翻譯。本翻譯項目報告分為四大部分:第一部分,翻譯項目背景,包括該項目的來源、意義、結(jié)構(gòu)和項目分析。第二部分:任務描述,包括譯前準備、翻譯過程和譯后處理。第三部分:案例分析,本翻譯報告舉例分析了翻譯過程中遇到的翻譯重難點、翻譯理論的闡述和運用,本部分為翻譯報告的重點部分。第四部分:翻譯總結(jié),主要總結(jié)了筆者翻譯過程中得到的啟示、教訓,以及仍待解決的問題。其中,第三部分是本翻譯報告的主要部分。在該部分中,筆者將從諾德的目的論原則出發(fā),結(jié)合具體實例,闡述了如何運用"目的論"的翻譯方法來解決翻譯過程中所遇到的問題。本次翻譯中,筆者學習到很多經(jīng)驗和知識,切實體會到翻譯工作的不易。翻譯工作者,不僅要精通英語,而且要把英語轉(zhuǎn)換成地道的中文。另外,對于翻譯工作要了解目標文本中所涉及的背景知識,了解目標文本的語言風格,作者的生平。翻譯時,如果遇到專業(yè)詞匯,還要善于查閱資料,做到最大限度地傳達原文所要表達的神韻。翻譯后,多次審查譯文以確保譯文質(zhì)量。
[Abstract]:This paper is a project report on the translation of social science texts into English. The original text of the translation project is based on the guidance on disaster intervention and Humanitarian Assistance written by Professor Lina Dominieri of Durham University in England. The book is based on the disaster phenomenon of the present age, on the international reality, and provides relevant principles and guidance for policy makers, practical workers, researchers and educators. The book has important practical significance and social value in humanitarian aid and disaster intervention. Under the guidance of Skopos theory, this paper studies the translation of social science texts. The author analyzes the original text from three aspects: vocabulary, sentence and text, and discusses how to convey the information of the original text to the maximum extent at the lexical, sentence and discourse levels, and to achieve the effect of the original text. Skopos theory, as the core of functional translation theory, consists of three principles: Skopos principle, faithfulness principle and coherence principle. Under the guidance of the principle of faithfulness, this paper carries out lexical translation, sentence translation under the guidance of the principle of faithfulness and coherence, and text translation under the guidance of the principle of coherence. This translation project report is divided into four parts: the first part, the background of the translation project, including the source, significance, structure and project analysis of the project. Part two: task description, including pre-translation preparation, translation process and post-translation processing. Part three: case study, this translation report illustrates the translation difficulties encountered in the process of translation, the elaboration and application of translation theory, this part is divided into the key part of translation report. Part IV: translation summary, mainly summarizes the author's translation process of enlightenment, lessons, as well as the problems still to be solved. Among them, the third part is the main part of this translation report. In this part, based on Nord's Skopos principle and concrete examples, the author expounds how to use Skopos to solve the problems encountered in the process of translation. In this translation, the author learned a lot of experience and knowledge, practical experience translation work is not easy. Translators should not only master English, but also translate English into authentic Chinese. In addition, we should understand the background knowledge involved in the target text, the language style of the target text and the author's life. In translation, if you encounter professional vocabulary, you should be good at consulting materials to convey the charm of the original text to the maximum extent. After translation, review the translation many times to ensure the quality of the translation.
