【摘要】：《英國駐華使館設(shè)館第一年間的北京和北京人》本書由廣西師范大學(xué)出版社于2008年3月出版。作者觀察細(xì)致入微,以日記的形式記述了從1861年3月22到1862年4月25日他在中國的見聞以及其他人遇到的有趣的見聞,是不可多得的史料文獻(xiàn)。因此,翻譯此書,對今后的翻譯及研究工作有一定的幫助。筆者承擔(dān)的是第五章到第六章部分的翻譯任務(wù)。第五章到第六章主要講述了作者在到達(dá)北京使館之后的5月份在北京城的所見所聞所感。從滿人中族長逝世時(shí)的風(fēng)俗習(xí)慣,到中國人的嚴(yán)厲家法等。接著第六章記敘了北京的火災(zāi)事件,中國鴉片,天花和水痘事件等。原語言比較平實(shí),流暢,描寫與敘說相結(jié)合,文化負(fù)載詞以及長難句較多。因此翻譯時(shí),既要貼近原作者,也要照顧到讀者。根據(jù)文本的語言特點(diǎn),筆者在紐馬克的語義翻譯與交際翻譯理論的指導(dǎo)下,靈活運(yùn)用增詞,顯化,文化轉(zhuǎn)化,拆分重組,調(diào)序及詞性轉(zhuǎn)變等翻譯方法,對《北京與北京人》進(jìn)行漢譯,盡可能地接近源語言文本,同時(shí)也努力使譯文對目的語讀者所產(chǎn)生的效果與原文對源語讀者所產(chǎn)生的效果相同。譯者應(yīng)充分考慮影響意義理解的因素,在上下文中準(zhǔn)確把握認(rèn)知意文、交際意義和聯(lián)想意義,靈活運(yùn)用語義翻譯策略和交際翻譯策略進(jìn)行翻譯實(shí)踐。報(bào)告共分為五部分,第一部分為引言。主要是對項(xiàng)目背景、文本項(xiàng)目內(nèi)容以及項(xiàng)目意義的簡介。第二部分是譯前準(zhǔn)備。簡述譯前相關(guān)文獻(xiàn)的查找與閱讀,對文本的詞匯、句子、篇章特點(diǎn)進(jìn)行詳細(xì)地分析。第三部分是理論依據(jù),闡述了紐馬克語義翻譯和交際翻譯在本次翻譯實(shí)踐中的應(yīng)用。第四部分是案例分析。針對在翻譯中遇到的難點(diǎn),筆者使用相應(yīng)的翻譯策略進(jìn)行舉例說明。第五部分是總結(jié)。筆者總結(jié)在翻譯過程中及翻譯報(bào)告的撰寫過程中的經(jīng)驗(yàn)、收獲以及仍存在的不足和努力方向。
[Abstract]:This book was published by Guangxi normal University Press in March 2008.In the form of a diary, the author describes his experiences in China from March 22, 1861 to April 25, 1862, and the interesting experiences encountered by other people, which are rare historical documents.Therefore, the translation of this book, for the future translation and research has a certain help.The author undertakes the translation tasks from Chapter 5 to Chapter 6.The fifth to sixth chapters mainly describe what the author saw and heard in Beijing in May after arriving at the Beijing Embassy.From the death of Manchu patriarchal customs and habits, to the strict Chinese family law and so on.Chapter 6 describes the fire in Beijing, opium, smallpox and chickenpox in China.The original language is more plain, fluent, combined with narrative, culturally loaded words and long difficult sentences.Therefore, translation should not only be close to the original author, but also take care of the reader.Under the guidance of Newmark's theory of semantic translation and communicative translation, according to the linguistic characteristics of the text, the author makes flexible use of such translation methods as word addition, manifestation, cultural transformation, separation and reorganization, orderliness and part of speech transformation.The translation of Beijing and Beijingers into Chinese is as close as possible to the source text, and the effect of the translation on the target language readers is the same as that of the source language readers.The translator should take full account of the factors that affect the understanding of meaning, grasp the cognitive meaning, communicative meaning and associative meaning accurately in the context, and flexibly use semantic translation strategies and communicative translation strategies to carry out translation practice.The report is divided into five parts, the first part is an introduction.It is mainly a brief introduction to the project background, the text project content and the project meaning.The second part is pre-translation preparation.This paper briefly introduces the search and reading of pretranslational literature, and analyzes the lexical, sentence and textual features of the text in detail.The third part is the theoretical basis, expounding the application of Newmark semantic translation and communicative translation in this translation practice.The fourth part is case analysis.In view of the difficulties encountered in translation, the author uses the corresponding translation strategies to illustrate.The fifth part is a summary.The author summarizes the experiences, achievements, shortcomings and direction of efforts in the process of translation and the writing of translation reports.
