世界全球化使得國際交流日益頻繁,新聞作為信息傳播的主要途徑,以概括性的形式,言簡意賅的內(nèi)容,及時報道國內(nèi)外具有新聞價值的事實,在各國政治、經(jīng)濟、文化交流方面發(fā)揮著不可言喻的重要作用。英語是國際交流中使用最為廣泛的語言,因此,英漢新聞翻譯成為中國人了解世界的重要渠道,相關方面的研究也引起了諸多學者的廣泛關注。本研究旨在以杰夫·維索爾倫的順應論指導英語新聞的漢譯,以一個全新的視角來詮釋英漢新聞翻譯。杰夫·維索爾倫認為語言選擇是在不同程度意識下為適應交際目的而做出不斷選擇的過程。翻譯是一種極為復雜的跨文化交際過程,也是一個不斷進行語言選擇的過程。在新聞翻譯中,順應論強調(diào)語境關系和語言結構的動態(tài)順應及順應過程的意識突顯性。語境關系順應要求譯員在新聞翻譯中要順應原文的語言語境和譯文的文化語境,語言結構順應要求譯員順應譯語的話語構建原則,從一系列話語構建要素中做出選擇。同時,語境關系與語言結構彼此相互順應,使意義生成的動態(tài)性在譯文中得以保存。根據(jù)順應過程的意識突顯性,譯員要順應譯語的社會心智,才能仔細研究句子,最終達到提高譯文質(zhì)量的目的。本文采用了實例分析、對比分析等研究方法,對順應論應用于英漢新...
