化工英語是科技英語的重要分支之一。術(shù)語多、詞匯專業(yè)性強(qiáng)和背景知識(shí)復(fù)雜等特點(diǎn)使得化工類文本的翻譯成為了一個(gè)難點(diǎn)。但隨著全球化進(jìn)程的加快和翻譯行業(yè)的蓬勃發(fā)展,以Trados為代表的計(jì)算機(jī)輔助翻譯軟件正在幫助緩解翻譯工作的繁瑣程度,起到積極的促進(jìn)作用。為了豐富化工英語的翻譯研究,在借助翻譯工具的條件下,筆者分析了翻譯過程中遇到的諸多問題,提出相應(yīng)的解決方案。本翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告以《CM催化劑再生控制系統(tǒng)設(shè)備說明&數(shù)據(jù)手冊(cè)》（CM Catalyst Regeneration Control System Equipment Instruction&Date Book）為研究對(duì)象,從中選取 1 5000詞左右的篇幅為此實(shí)踐報(bào)告的翻譯材料和研究材料。在語言層面,通過分析化工英語和源文本語言特點(diǎn),表明選取Trados作為翻譯工具的可行性。其次,詳細(xì)介紹Trados的特點(diǎn)和主要工作流程。在技術(shù)層面,通過對(duì)機(jī)器翻譯和計(jì)算機(jī)輔助翻譯的對(duì)比來突出后者的優(yōu)勢(shì)。在實(shí)踐層面,通過具體案例,本報(bào)告從“詞匯”“句法”“語篇”三個(gè)方面分析在Trados環(huán)境下所發(fā)現(xiàn)的翻譯和改譯要點(diǎn),從而對(duì)Trados輔助翻譯化...
