社會(huì)認(rèn)知視角下的英語(yǔ)在線詞典研究

【摘要】:20世紀(jì)90年代,隨著計(jì)算機(jī)技術(shù)和因特網(wǎng)的迅猛發(fā)展,機(jī)讀工具書(shū)開(kāi)始將因特網(wǎng)作為媒介,在此背景之下,在線詞典應(yīng)運(yùn)而生。憑借互聯(lián)網(wǎng)技術(shù)自身所具有的巨大優(yōu)勢(shì),在線詞典自誕生起便彰顯出便捷檢索和更新及時(shí)等不同于傳統(tǒng)紙質(zhì)詞典的諸多優(yōu)點(diǎn),并逐漸受到廣大用戶的親睞。專(zhuān)家學(xué)者們也紛紛從不同視角對(duì)其展開(kāi)了廣泛而深入的研究。綜述現(xiàn)有研究,詞典的社會(huì)性和認(rèn)知性都分別得到過(guò)闡述,但作者發(fā)現(xiàn)尚無(wú)學(xué)者從社會(huì)認(rèn)知視角對(duì)之展開(kāi)研究。社會(huì)性和認(rèn)知性并非二元對(duì)立,因此從社會(huì)認(rèn)知視角對(duì)在線詞典展開(kāi)研究不僅可行而且很有必要。本論文主要從社會(huì)認(rèn)知的角度對(duì)英語(yǔ)在線詞典展開(kāi)研究。英語(yǔ)在線詞典已經(jīng)成為英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)者詞匯學(xué)習(xí)必不可少的工具。在當(dāng)今社會(huì)先進(jìn)的計(jì)算機(jī)信息技術(shù)的推動(dòng)下,該類(lèi)詞典得以產(chǎn)生,并能迅速收錄新詞,及時(shí)反映特定時(shí)期的社會(huì)文化現(xiàn)象,因而具有社會(huì)性。同時(shí),在線詞典繼續(xù)堅(jiān)持以用戶為中心,并將該點(diǎn)落到實(shí)處,使得普通用戶參與詞典編纂成為現(xiàn)實(shí)。另一方面,該類(lèi)詞典的編纂建立在對(duì)用戶的認(rèn)知習(xí)慣、認(rèn)知規(guī)律和認(rèn)知需求的把握上,能更好的滿足用戶的多元需求,帶來(lái)更好的用戶體驗(yàn);谏鐣(huì)認(rèn)識(shí)的一些主張和多媒體學(xué)習(xí)認(rèn)知理論,本論文分別從編者和用戶的角度探討了在線詞典的社會(huì)認(rèn)知特性,分析了社會(huì)因素和認(rèn)知因素在在線詞典的產(chǎn)生和發(fā)展過(guò)程中所扮演的角色,兩種因素相互交織,共同推動(dòng)著在線詞典的產(chǎn)生和發(fā)展,這些分析也能解釋為何在線詞典如此受用戶歡迎。該研究有利于拓展在線詞典的研究視角,深化其理論研究,并能為英語(yǔ)在線詞典未來(lái)編纂實(shí)踐的進(jìn)一步完善提供一定的理論指導(dǎo)。
[Abstract]:In the 1990s, with the rapid development of computer technology and the Internet, machine-readable reference books began to use the Internet as a medium. Under this background, online dictionaries came into being.With the enormous advantages of Internet technology, online dictionaries have shown many advantages from traditional paper dictionaries, such as convenient retrieval and timely updating since their birth, and have gradually been favored by the vast number of users.Experts and scholars have also carried out extensive and in-depth research from different perspectives.The sociality and cognition of dictionaries have been expounded respectively, but the author finds that no scholars have studied them from the perspective of social cognition.Since sociality and cognition are not dualistic, it is not only feasible but also necessary to study online dictionaries from the perspective of social cognition.This thesis focuses on the study of English online dictionaries from the perspective of social cognition.English online dictionaries have become an essential tool for English learners to learn vocabulary.Promoted by the advanced computer information technology, this kind of dictionary can quickly include new words and reflect the social and cultural phenomena in a specific period, so it has a social nature.At the same time, online dictionaries continue to focus on users and put this point into practice, making it possible for ordinary users to participate in the compilation of dictionaries.On the other hand, the compilation of this kind of dictionaries is based on the understanding of users' cognitive habits, cognitive laws and cognitive needs, which can better meet the diverse needs of users and bring better user experience.Based on some ideas of social cognition and the cognitive theory of multimedia learning, this paper discusses the social cognitive characteristics of online dictionaries from the perspectives of editors and users, respectively.This paper analyzes the role of social factors and cognitive factors in the emergence and development of online dictionaries. The two factors are intertwined to promote the emergence and development of online dictionaries.These analyses also explain why online dictionaries are so popular with users.This study is helpful to expand the perspective of online dictionary research, deepen its theoretical research, and provide some theoretical guidance for the further improvement of English online dictionary compilation practice in the future.
