閱讀習得對面孔加工的影響

【摘要】:本實驗采用E-prime程序?qū)崿F(xiàn)異同判斷的實驗范式,探究讀寫能力的差異是否會影響面孔的整體和分析加工。實驗共有被試21名,其中,漢族識字15人、文盲6人。實驗一中我們采用正立的面孔圖片,改變雙眼和眼嘴之間的距離15%和30%,程序中向被試呈現(xiàn)兩張來自同一個人的正立的面孔圖片,這兩張面孔被隨機呈現(xiàn)。實驗中要求被試判斷這兩個面孔圖是否相同。實驗二中的程序跟實驗一相同,但是采用的是倒置面孔圖片,倒置面孔圖也被改變了雙眼和眼嘴之間的距離15%和30%。本實驗中向每個被試的呈現(xiàn)圖片順序都一樣,首先呈現(xiàn)正立面孔圖片,再呈現(xiàn)倒置面孔圖片。本論文設(shè)計的刺激材料包括四個種族面孔圖,即漢族、蒙古族、維瓦爾族以及高加索,每個種族嚴格地篩選出了4個人的照片(男女各一半),照片通過Photoshop軟件處理雙眼和眼嘴之間的距離15%和30%。結(jié)果顯示在所有被試類別中均存在顯著的倒置效應(yīng),即文盲和識字被試都傾向于整體加工方式。這與之前的英語閱讀者的研究不一致,表明漢族被試在獲得閱讀之后仍然傾向于整體加工方式識別面孔,沒有導(dǎo)致面孔自動整體加工的減少。非文盲被試對面孔構(gòu)形信息加工的成績高于文盲被試,其中15%變化的識別難度比30%變化更大,水平變化面孔識別難度比豎直變化面孔大。
[Abstract]:In this experiment, E-prime program was used to realize the pattern of similarity and difference judgment, to explore whether the difference in reading and writing ability would affect the whole face and the processing of analysis. There were 21 subjects in the experiment, 15 of whom were literate in Han nationality, 15 of them were literate in Han nationality. In experiment 1, we changed the distance between eyes and mouth by changing the distance between eyes and mouth by 15% and 30. In the program, we presented two images of upright faces from the same person to the subjects. The two faces were randomly presented. The subjects were asked to determine whether the two faces were identical. The program in experiment 2 was the same as that in experiment 1, but the inverted face images were used. The inverted face map also changed the distance between the eyes and the eyes and mouth 15% and 30. In this experiment, the order of the images presented to each participant was the same. The stimulus materials designed in this paper include four ethnic faces, namely Han, Mongolian, Vival and Caucasus. Images of four people (half of men and women, half of men and women) were strictly screened by each race (using Photoshop software to handle the distance between eyes and mouth 15% and 30). The results showed that there was a significant inversion effect in all the subjects. That is to say, both the illiterate and the literate subjects tend to work in a holistic way, which is inconsistent with previous studies by English readers, indicating that the Han nationality subjects still tend to recognize faces in a holistic way after they have obtained reading. The results of face configuration information processing in non-illiterate subjects were higher than those in illiterate subjects. The difficulty of recognition of 15% changes was greater than that of 30%, and the difficulty of face recognition with horizontal change was greater than that with vertical change.
