新加坡華人族群的生活世界與認(rèn)同體系(1819-1912)

【摘要】:論文以1819-1912年的新加坡華人族群為研究對(duì)象。運(yùn)用歷史學(xué)、社會(huì)學(xué)、人類學(xué)的相關(guān)理論和方法,采用宏觀研究與微觀研究結(jié)合的方式,對(duì)新加坡華人族群的日常生活世界、族群關(guān)系和身份認(rèn)同進(jìn)行了考察。 論文通過(guò)社會(huì)學(xué)場(chǎng)域理論和社會(huì)權(quán)力理論,對(duì)新加坡華人族群社會(huì)權(quán)力的來(lái)源和運(yùn)作進(jìn)行了分析,并使用“權(quán)力的文化網(wǎng)絡(luò)”概念對(duì)新加坡華人的社會(huì)組織與象征體系進(jìn)行了整合和研究。文章指出,引起新加坡華人族群的社會(huì)問(wèn)題的主要根源在于移民社會(huì)獨(dú)特的社會(huì)結(jié)構(gòu)、文化結(jié)構(gòu)和心理結(jié)構(gòu)。論文還通過(guò)對(duì)新加坡華人族群文化、教育發(fā)展?fàn)顩r的論述,揭示了新加坡華人族群既試圖復(fù)興中華傳統(tǒng)文化,建立身份認(rèn)同,又強(qiáng)調(diào)自身主體性的雙重態(tài)度。 通過(guò)對(duì)新加坡華人與其他族群的關(guān)系進(jìn)行研究,文章總結(jié)了華人族群構(gòu)建身份認(rèn)同的模式與方法。新加坡華人族群面對(duì)三個(gè)不同“他者”:英國(guó)殖民者、馬來(lái)族群和中國(guó)文化,分別采取了不同的區(qū)分和認(rèn)同法則,借以最終定義自身。與此同時(shí),來(lái)自中國(guó)的士紳階層也在通過(guò)新加坡,對(duì)西方世界和華人族群進(jìn)行觀察。
[Abstract]:This paper focuses on the Chinese ethnic groups in Singapore from 1819 to 1912. Based on the relevant theories and methods of history sociology and anthropology the daily life world ethnic relationship and identity of Chinese ethnic groups in Singapore are investigated by means of the combination of macro-and micro-studies. Through sociological field theory and social power theory, this paper analyzes the source and operation of the social power of Singaporean Chinese ethnic group. The concept of "cultural network of power" is used to integrate and study the social organization and symbolic system of Singaporean Chinese. The paper points out that the main causes of the social problems of the ethnic Chinese in Singapore lie in the unique social structure, cultural structure and psychological structure of the immigrant society. By discussing the cultural and educational development of Singaporean ethnic groups, the thesis also reveals the dual attitudes of Singaporean ethnic groups which try to revive the traditional Chinese culture, establish identity and emphasize their own subjectivity. Through the study of the relationship between Singaporean Chinese and other ethnic groups, this paper summarizes the patterns and methods of constructing identity among Chinese ethnic groups in Singapore. Chinese ethnic groups in Singapore face three different "others": British colonists, Malay ethnic groups and Chinese culture, respectively, adopting different rules of distinction and identification in order to define themselves at last. At the same time, the gentry from China are observing the Western world and the Chinese community through Singapore.
