【摘要】： 在歐洲近代早期所發(fā)生的“軍事革命”，乃是具有世界性意義的重大事件，它的成果，和文藝復(fù)興、工業(yè)革命、民族國家的誕生等等事件結(jié)合在一起，最終塑造了今日的地球。目前，對“軍事革命”時期歷史的多方面研究，在西方的主流學(xué)界正是熱火朝天，百花齊放。筆者認為，若能結(jié)合當時的背景，對近代戰(zhàn)爭早期的變革過程作一個整體梳理，想必能極大地有助于我們理清歷史前進的因果關(guān)系和內(nèi)在邏輯——尤其是考慮到當今國內(nèi)對這方面的著述還相對薄弱、文藝復(fù)興整體研究的構(gòu)架尚未填充完善的情況下。 據(jù)此，，本文首先從近代早期歐洲所發(fā)生的若干戰(zhàn)爭的表征入手，繼而探討形成這些表征的原因，以求回答二個問題：第一，為什么近代早期歐洲的戰(zhàn)爭相對于后世的戰(zhàn)爭處于靜止狀態(tài)；第二，為什么人們認為這種相對的靜止狀態(tài)其實孕育了重大的革命。 通過這兩大問題的發(fā)掘與探討，當能初步揭示出“軍事革命”的重要意義。這不僅在于機械上的創(chuàng)造與應(yīng)用，更關(guān)鍵的是，它通過幾代人的時間，塑造了歐洲人的新思維，使他們能夠適應(yīng)和利用日后工業(yè)革命時代大變革的成果，這樣一來，“軍事革命”實際上為歐洲國家的大擴張緩慢而堅實地儲備了條件。 值得注意的是，本文在寫作上立足于近代早期的社會現(xiàn)狀，通過對形成中的國家與戰(zhàn)爭的聯(lián)系和戰(zhàn)爭本身的元素等幾個方面進行闡述，從而勾勒發(fā)展趨勢，并不將著眼點放在具體的戰(zhàn)爭或著名人物上面——這是運用了國外“新軍事史”的典型寫作方法。在今日的國際學(xué)界，對“新軍事史”寫作方法的推崇與探索已蔚然成風(fēng)，而“新軍事史”的著作卻還基本沒有引進國內(nèi)或作系統(tǒng)性的介紹與評價，于是筆者企圖通過方法上的創(chuàng)新，在近代早期歐洲社會史和軍事史的研究上為后來者作一些鋪墊工作。
[Abstract]:The "military revolution" that took place in the early modern Europe was a major event of worldwide significance. Its achievements combined with the events of the Renaissance, the industrial revolution, the birth of the nation-state, and so on, finally shaped the earth today. At present, many aspects of the history of the military Revolution are in the mainstream of the West. The author believes that if we can combine the background of that time, we can make a whole combing of the reform process of the early modern war. It must be of great help to us to clarify the causality and internal logic of historical advance, especially in view of the fact that the whole research framework of the Renaissance is still relatively weak, and the framework of the overall study of the Renaissance is not yet complete. Accordingly, this paper begins with the characterization of some wars that took place in early modern Europe, and then discusses the reasons for the formation of these characterizations in order to answer two questions: first, Why the war in early modern Europe is at a standstill relative to that of later generations; second, why people think that this relative stillness actually breeds a major revolution. Through the exploration and discussion of these two problems, the significance of "military revolution" can be preliminarily revealed. It is not just the creation and application of machinery, but, crucially, it has shaped the new thinking of Europeans over generations, enabling them to adapt and take advantage of the great changes of the industrial revolution that followed. The military revolution is in effect a condition for the slow and solid build-up of European countries. It is worth noting that this paper is based on the social situation in the early modern times, through the formation of the state and the war and the elements of the war itself, and other aspects of the elaboration of the development trend, Rather than focusing on specific wars or famous figures, this is a typical way of writing a new military history abroad. In today's international academic circles, the promotion and exploration of the writing methods of "New military History" have become popular, while the works of "New military History" have not been introduced into China or systematically introduced and evaluated. Therefore, the author attempts to pave the way for the latecomers in the study of the social history and military history of Europe in the early modern times through the innovation of methods.
